Had a fantastic Florentine steak! We had the chefs selection cut with a side of perfectly roasted potatoes. The service was awesome as well. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This was my second time here and it was equally as impressive as the first time . I had the steak for one and it was cooked perfectly . Could not thank this restaurant enough for this exceptional experience!! I will be returning during my next visit to Florence.

Osteria de’ Medici was easily one of the best meals we had in Florence. Absolutely phenomenal from beginning to end. I had the potato tortellini, which was spectacular, delicate, pillowy pasta with a rich, silky filling that practically melted in your mouth. My wife had the wild boar ragù, and it was everything you hope Tuscan pasta will be: deeply savory, slow-cooked, hearty and incredibly flavorful, with that rich wild boar sauce clinging to every bite of pasta. We started with Caprese and grilled vegetables, both beautifully fresh and simple in exactly the way great Italian food should be. Every ingredient tasted like it belonged there, and nothing needed to be overdone to be memorable. The service was every bit as impressive as the food, warm, attentive, knowledgeable and genuinely welcoming. The selection was excellent, the atmosphere was wonderful, and by the end we were already talking about how much we wished we could eat the whole meal again. If you’re in Florence and want the kind of dinner you’ll still be thinking about days later, go here. Magnificent food and top-tier hospitality. An absolutely unforgettable meal.
