Restaurants near Pike Place Market

Fantastic dinner at Kashiba as expected. We did the chef’s selection “peak” dinner and it was amazing and delicious - as good as the best in Tokyo.

I visit Umi once a month or so. Umi as usual delivers on good sushi, quick service and a pleasant meal. Downsides? The place can get very loud and the front desk gives you a time they want the table back which I understand to some can be off-putting. Upsides? Good food and a nice location in Bell Town. Parking is usually plentiful if your walking range is one or two blocks away on the street.

I have lived about 1.5 hours away from seattle for 30 years. I have never tried this restaurant before but have always wanted to try it and now I have. I thought it was located elsewhere in post alley But we found it very easily. This is a wonderful restaurant. It is very pretty inside as you walk through. We went for lunch. We each had a drink, one with alcohol, one without. The Dicky and Hello Madame President (I can only hope). They were very good. My husband had the papparedelle bolognese which he enjoyed. I had a tiny taste, I have had better elsewhere but these n.w. seafood was just plain delicious. That halibut was beautiful. I wished I had more, even though the serving was not small. The sauce was great and the peppers were not spicy as I thought they would be. I would order that again any day. I really didn’t know what to have, several good looking things on the menu. Glad I had this.

The food is terrific. The chicken skewers are juicy, tender and flavorful--at a lot of other places they are dried out. The roasted red pepper dip is awesome, ditto for the grilled zucchini--more flavor than usual. It's a great place for lunch or dinner, business or social.

We love this brunch place in Downtown Seattle and Pike Place Market. Came here 10 years ago for the first time and we return here for every trip to Seattle. Must try and make reservations as place gets busy.
