Poached Pear is consistently one of the best restaurants in our area of the shore. All the restaurants here are expensive and most have “good” food, but not worth the cost. Poached Pear’s menu and food quality is fine dining, it can compete with NYC restaurants for its quality. Kudos to the chef.

Food and service is consistently excellent. One of our regular dinner spots. Highly recommend the Clams Oreganatta, or Mussels appetizers. As for the entrees: the Veal Chop Milanese, stuffed Pork Chop are also highly recommended.
Truly a mesmerizing place when you walk into the restaurant. I felt as if I had been transported in time.
