    My second Merriman’s. First was in Maui. It was exquisite. Somehow this was better. Maybe because it is the original location. Or, maybe it was just Johnny at the host stand welcoming us in like we were regulars even though we just met. Or, maybe it was just our server Joslynne and how she made sure to give us the details we needed and yet the necessary space to make our decisions. And did it like she was only serving us and we could have anything we wanted. Or maybe it was chef and how he handled a dairy dietary restriction on his catch of the day and made my love a dish that will likely be on the menu going forward. Thank you. Grazie mille. Mahalo. Merriman’s is a must go if you are lucky enough to visit the islands of Hawaii. We’ll be back. A hui hou!

    We ate here twice during our stay at the Mauna Kea resort. Both times were incredible experiences. There were different managers working each night, and each made sure to make our nights remarkable. They went out of their way to insure our every need was met, and then some! The personal attention they showed us truly made us feel so welcome and special, they truly went above and beyond what was expected, making them the most memorable dining experiences!
