This place was hilarious, we loved it. It’s silly but if you don’t take it seriously, it’s a lot of fun. Just bring earplugs.
Masato-san, the owner of Oumi Genji, was very friendly and helpful with our orders. He explained to us how to eat shabu shabu the right way and to pick a good sake. The food was well-presented and delicious. It was the best dining experience of my entire Japan trip.
Very accommodating and helpful for us as we were a large party. Food was great and the ambiance was lovely, only issue we had was that it was so hot inside. Other than that, top notch.
