    My husband and myself went for breakfast, he had the eggs Benedict I had the rosti with spinach, the food was delicious and piping hot, the service was excellent. The waitress was so friendly and as we paid in the conversation it was mentioned my husband had recently been 70, she then brought him a small cake with a candle, such a nice touch 😊

    An absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. We arrived & were greeted warmly by staff. There was a cloakroom available for coats etc. The imperial room was decorated beautifully with a really lovely ambiance about it. We were shown to our table & seated, near to the piano where a gentleman was playing a lovely selection of tunes. A lovely young gentleman came & explained the menu & then helped us decide on the wonderful selection of teas available. Rose champagne was served to us. The afternoon tea was absolutely exquisite. The attention to detail was impeccable. All displayed on beautiful tiered plates & placed delicately on the table. Our tea served in beautiful china cups & saucers with beautiful teapots in silver. All staff were an absolute delight, professional, polite & very attentive. As it was my husbands birthday a beautiful iced fondant fancy cake complete with birthday candle was brought out & Happy Birthday played for everyone celebrating a birthday. It really did make it feel special.
