My steak was perfectly cooked (ask for 'English' if you like rare steak in Germany as 'Medium' is too well-cooked for my taste) and delicious. The portions were the right size for me too, not small but not too big. The **restaurant** offers wines from their vineyard, a range of very good reasonable wines as well as some excellent special selections. We went for a business dinner midweek so the **restaurant** wasn't full but it still had a nice ambiance. The service was attentive and not intrusive.

Charming **restaurant** in the middle of the vineyards with lovely hike nearby. The food was excellent, especially the salmon with herb remoulade, Spinatknödel and pana cotta. Good sparkling wines and surprisingly good red wine in a region known for its whites. Very friendly host. Highly recommended!
