We enjoyed a delicious meal, the service was good but it took a while to get attention the waiter Michael was nice but it felt like he wasn’t attentive to our needs. He did apologized so it made it better. We will go back, I loved the musician! Good song choices!

We were a group of nine dining here. We were able to get reservations early afternoon for same day even though the restaurant fills up fast. I have been to Germany many times and this restaurant’s cuisine is as authentic as it gets. There are also non-German dishes for those who want them. The decor of the restaurant is very special with beer steins in the bar area and fine European blue china dotting the main dining room walls. They do not prepare separate checks for parties of more than five so we split into two adjacent tables. Photos of our visit follow. Do not miss this place when passing through Springfield, MA!

I am so sad Dewey’s is closing this week. They have been my favorite jazz restaurant to go to the last few years, and they will be sorely missed. If you get the chance to go before they close on the 23rd, do it!
