Have been so impressed with our stay at the Jack Russell. Warm welcome and friendly staff. Have come to celebrate my wife’s birthday and has been such a pleasant stay. The food was so good we opted in eating in the restaurant again during our stay. The rooms are immaculate.

I don’t think I’m wrong in saying this is the best restaurant in town. We had a wonderful time with our toddler for Christmas dinner. The staff was very friendly, and the food was of excellent quality.

Good quality food, polite and helpful staff. Really good surroundings and ambience. Good to be able to take well behaved dogs and the children’s playground is perfect as a reward for good behaviour. Thank you

Had a really lovely lunch to celebrate my mother’s birthday. We all had the delicious venison and they were happy to make a tiny adjustment with no fuss at all to make it gluten free for my daughter. Lovely puddings too. The food is a great deal Nicer than you might expect from the outside shop front might suggest.
