A celebration of Sherry, Wine, Tapas, & Friends. Influenced by the culture of sip-a-little-bit-of-this-and-eat-a-little-bit-of-that, Tapavino began in August 2012 as Australia’s first Sherry Bar in Sydney, in a little lane-way not unlike something you would find in the cobblestoned alleyways of Spain. Helped by the beautiful warm vibe that greets you as you step inside and take a seat among floor-to-ceiling wine bottles, Tapavino was named runner-up in Sydney Morning Herald's 'Best New Bar' Awards within 4-months of opening. 12-months later we were named 'Best Bar with Food'.

Mary’s isn’t simply the greatest feed in your postcode. It’s a cultural icon. Your neighbourhood staple. The big bad burger bar that saved Sydney from itself. Splatter by splatter. Sud by sud. Short menu, loud music and plenty of booze is the recipe from which Mary’s continues to grow.We exist solely for good food, good drinks and Fucking good times. None of the shit stuff. One big fucked-up family. With an open-door policy that lays out a welcome mat for the local wasters, waifs, and weirdos. Open all hours. To all persuasions. For all occasions. But we do a shitload more than that. We’re scene setters. Game changers. Lords of culture. Genre hoppers. Venue builders. Art ambassadors. Musical mavens. Disciples to the lost art of a big fucking night out.Totally irreverent. Undeniably bold. Utterly iconic. Always f*cking delicious!Beers, burgers and good times.

Whereas the downstairs space feels cosy and intimate, dotted with vintage leather banquettes, dark jade and light orange velvet armchairs, low tables and a fireplace, the ground level you’ll walk into off George Street will reflect the energy of the bartenders working behind the almost five-metre-long oak bar. A handful of bar stools provide the perfect vantage point to take in the cocktail mixology while the dark velvet curtains, worn leather banquette seats and cosy fireplace of the ‘Snug’ provides groups of up to eight with a private space to retreat and relax.
