1st visit, was really lovely. Highly recommend. Quality of the food and service was excellent.

We are a couple the way out way too often. This includes around 2-3 Sunday lunches a month. There's not many places we haven't visited in the local area and this is easily in the top few.

I celebrated my birthday with friends at the Tickled Trout, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The food and the drinks were amazing. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring everything went smoothly. I highly recommend the Tickled Trout for anyone looking for great food and drinks. Can’t wait to visit again!

Unfamiliar with the area we stumbled upon the Greyhound as a half way meeting point with friends and what a hidden treasure. The pub is very cozy and the log fire was lit when I arrived at midday. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Kelly runs the pub like you are guests in her home and extremely attentive but without being bother some and always with a smile. The ambience is very warm and cozy and it looked very pretty outside too, although when we visited it was extremely cold out and we did not take advantage of the outdoor space but in the summer it would be delightful. The food was incredible.The menu was extensive and delicious. Go with an empty tummy as the portions are generous to say the least. The presentation too was great. I could not fault our visit and would absolutely recommend this to anyone. It’s not on my doorstep, it’s about an hour from where I live but I will happily return at some point, hopefully not too far in the future. Thank you Kelly.
