Restaurants near Wales Millennium Centre

We’ve eaten at Cǒte many times now. The restaurant was particularly packed this evening with pre theatre ‘Kinky Boots’ diners. Luckily we’d booked a table and were promptly shown to our table, by a lovely young man. He even noticed some spilt liquid on our table and immediately wiped it away. He politely offered to take our coats too. We had a great table and were served our wine in a nice, floor height ice bucket. Due to only having an hour to eat (I couldn’t get an earlier table), we opted for just a main course. This arrived quickly, despite the volume of diners. Another young man asked if we wanted dessert. He was professional, friendly and chatty, despite the pressure to serve everyone. A lovely start to our evening and we made it to our theatre seats with minutes to spare! Well done to all the staff, especially the kitchen staff, which must have been challenging for them!

The food here is always great. I went with my girlfriend and her parents; we had yaki udon, sushi and tempura. Excellent.

Excellent Sunday lunch once again. Ambience is so conducive to enjoying the lunch.

Busy Saturday lunch time. Food was great. Service was polite and prompt. My only issue was our table was near the door and very cold. Other than that, everything was great.
