I visited this restaurant on Saturday, 6 June, without really knowing what to expect. That made the experience even better. The moment you walk in, the lounge already sets the tone. People were sitting at the bar and at small tables, with a live band playing in the background. Piano, bass and trumpet created exactly the right atmosphere. The music had real energy, but the acoustics were good enough that it never became too much. Behind the lounge, the restaurant itself feels warm and stylish. Comfortable seating, beautiful interior, and a view onto Spuistraat, where people pass by outside while you sit inside in this almost hidden, elegant setting. The food was simply excellent. At one point I could hear the Italian energy coming from the kitchen, which made the whole place feel even more authentic. Not staged. Just real. The service was also exactly right. Super friendly, attentive, and well paced. Nothing felt rushed, but we were never left waiting either. I arrived with no expectations. I left knowing one thing for sure: this is a place I will come back to. A beautiful atmosphere, great food, warm service and a very memorable evening. Highly recommended.

A fantastic last dinner on our trip. We were looking for quality Dutch food and they didn't disappoint. Service was excellent and the food was delicious! We picked this restaurant because of our plans in the area nearby and the menu options. I would definitely eat here again!

Best food ever literally me and my party got all separate dishes and we were all so happy they were so delicious’!! the service was beyond great and we definitely recommend going here!!
