It was one of the most fun nights I have had in a while, aided by wonderful service (thank you, Mary), wonderful food, and a wonderful chef (thank you, Chef Bryan Voltaggio). Every bite of my appetizer (tuna carpacio), entree (swordfish au poivre with brown butter), and (to die for) dessert (deconstructed lemon meringue pie with coconut ice cream was fanTAStic. I would drive out there tomorrow for another round of that dessert. From my dinner companions' plates, I can also recommend the steak tartare with cauliflower & horseradish whip and the crabcake. I hope to return someday.

Bistro 11 continues to be one of those places that just gets it right every time. The oyster stew is absolutely outstanding — rich, flavorful, and easily one of the best around. Beyond that, the food is consistently excellent across the board, with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. The bar deserves its own mention too. Drinks are always spot on, whether you’re stopping in for a casual cocktail or settling in for the evening. The bartenders are friendly, attentive, and make the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed. What really makes Bistro 11 stand out is the overall atmosphere. It has that perfect balance of upscale without being pretentious, and comfortable without feeling ordinary. Service is consistently strong, the vibe is great, and it’s the kind of place you keep coming back to because you know you’ll have a good experience every time. Highly recommend.

28 South was good, Veva has taken things to the next level. Definitely will be back!
