Enjoyed a lovely meal on Tuesday evening - delicious pork chop with accompaniments and tasty chicken followed by wonderful fruity apple crumble and ice cream! V friendly service as always !
Lovely cafe for good food as reasonable prices.
Very good experience, well spaced out and helpful staff. Food were great especially deserts. Will definitely revisit
Incredible food and service. Only thing was that it was a bit cold and the heaters were quite ineffective. Will absolutely be returning because of how amazing the food and service was. Thank you!
Lovely food especially the starter and attentive service.
I went there to meet a friend at 6pm and it was freezing. The heater was at the top of the wall - useless - and what was very upsetting when we had nearly finished they brought out patio heater. Why could they not have producer this at the beginning of the evening. The whole evening was ruined because we were soooooo cold.
I have been going to this restaurant for many years and it was great to be back again.
Excellent tasting, great quality food. The waitress wasn't massively attentive but that's not always an issue.
Simple but great food
Good for a light bite
Always friendly. As our visit was the evening before Tier 3 restrictions some of the items on the menu weren't available as supplies were being run down but that was totally understandable.
Terrible ambience, messy, poor service, expensive
Great burgers - smashed avocado addition is a must - And good local beer :)
Tried to get a last meal out before latest shutdown - fairly quiet night, but we were well looked after, and the idea of a choice of really tasty salad with the main course selection suited us all well
Look forward to going back after lockdown
Really great experience, covid restrictions followed and amazing food!
Really delicious food - everything was great. The staff were lovely too.
Great food and brilliant value for money when it is freshly sourced. Very safe and sanitised.
Good atmosphere and menu. Food was very salty though.
Average food. We were in the conservatory and it as cold as the front door was left open (apparently due to Covid).
Service was slow and inattentive.
Lovely food but very very noisy as no soft furnishings to absorb it.
Waitress was very attentive. Food was lovely. Thank you.
Staff are very friendly & the service was great. Food was served in good time and the burgers were excellent.
We had a lovely evening in a quiet corner of the restaurant. The service was excellent and the food delicious.
Good food, an excellent table in the window with views of the Sunday market, very good service, a thoroughly enjoyable lunch.
Love this restaurant and normally have nothing but praise for it. But unfortunately the service was really slow for my lunchtime visit. There seemed to be plenty of staff and the restaurant didn't seem overly busy but it felt they just kept forgetting about us! Food was excellent and great value. Will still continue to go there since normally everything is fantastic.
A pleasant place in a good location.
The food was good and the portion size well judged.
I fall to understand why we use it so seldom.
Poor service. Staff rushed off their feet and not Covid compliant.
We went for 21:00 dinner on a Saturday. Enjoyed the food immensely and service was efficient and good.
Pretty poor. The service was mediocre and the food was very (below) average. I has the rare breed burger, which was over cooked and dry. I would have expected better from a place like this in Wimbledon Village. It felt like it's amateur outfit and not very professional. Its a shame as the location is good.
Although the food was excellent the service here was so terrible that it ruined the entire experience. We were sat toward the back of the room and waited 40 minutes before managing to flag down a staff member to get us some menus. Utterly terrible.
We sat at the back and it was lovely and quiet. The service and food were, as always, excellent.
Too much ginger in fresh juices. Full English ok. Pity they ran out of filter coffee so we had tea which wasn’t great.
Quiet and pleasant experience, great food, prompt service, appropriately distanced tables - too many flies but it was a hot day and the doors were open!
Nice food, big over priced for the little portions but what you expect for the area. Note to the very lovely staff, remember to bring cutlery before the food arrives!
Nice place (especially if you choose to seat at the back), quick and friendly service. Menu could offer a couple more options, but food was quite tasty
A good experience but in the current situation staff had no mask and gloves
Disappointed that there was no fish on the menu on Tuesday.
I went there for dinner with few friends. We spent a very nice evening and the staff are so friendly. We will be back soon
Great service and food. The fish and salads were especially good.
