From the moment you are greeted to the moment you exit, the staff’s attentiveness remains. They have been operating in Mississauga for many years with the same level of consistency. I am always delighted after have a nice meal at this restaurant. While all their dishes are delicious, I do recommend the seafood board as a starter. The osso buco is a must if you love beef shank. For seafood lovers, both the seafood pasta in the red or white sauce is amazing. Even though many Italian restaurants offer tiramisu, unfortunately, many also don’t live up to the standards. I have to say at Alioli, they know what they are doing. If you are a gelato lover, you must try the nocciola.

We celebrated my mom’s 89th birthday this evening at Allen’s. It did not disappoint. The food and the service were 10/10. It was a really fun evening. The restaurant was busy and had such great energy. The menu has a great selection to choose from. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Been a few times already. Consistently good across the board. Was pretty busy post-Xmas break which is a good sign for them. Only thing I didn’t like was they charged us for extra pita bread - waiter should at least mention this extra fee. Lack of disclosure is short sighted as I just take off tip.

Definitely worth the drive. I recommend going for an earlier seating because it did get busy towards the last half of our visit( we had reservations for 11:30) Friendly and knowledgeable servers and was always prompt with a new drink or clean out table. Everything was delicious, especially the crepes

Heartland Cafe never disappoints! Our party of three was greeted and seated immediately. One of our guests had never been to the restaurant and she was most impressed by the decor and ambience. Our server was just the right amount of attentive in getting our drinks, telling us about the specials, taking our orders and bringing our food. The food as always was delicious. This was my first visit to Hy's and it won't be my last. Every second of this evening was an experience, magical in a way. The staff, the drinks, the food is beyond 5*. My entire dinner was made table side, from salad to desert. The recommendation's were 100% on point and they even went out of their way to make me an off menu cocktail. 110% you should experience the difference and enjoy the experience. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Gastown, so I looked forward to showing my SIL this place. As my SIL was still recovering from a bout of diverticulitis, I didn’t order a bottle of wine. I had two wines by the glass, and we shared a few dishes. We started with their fabulous bread service, then a Dungeness Crab salad, an Artichoke tart and their Terrine of Fois Gras. Our “main” was their Agnolotti. I had a glass of 2022 Garnier et Fils Chablis with the salads and a glass of 2016 Synchromesh Pinot Noir from Storm Haven Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, BC with foie gras and agnolotti. The Artichoke Tart was half salad, half egg custard tart with pieces of artichoke between the two. It was a light, refreshing dish. The Dungeness Crab Salad was a visual surprise … the crab was placed between thin slices of radish and decorated with green leaves. It was interesting; perhaps a little too subtle in flavor for me. The foie gras terrine came with two thick pieces of brioche. The square of terrine was decorated with squares of wine jelly, and cherry halves. The terrine was soft and silky and the brioche so buttery. The star of the evening was the Sweet Corn Agnolotti. Pillows of mascarpone pasta were covered with pieces of sweet corn and a generous helping of sliced black truffle. This dish was “to die for” and I wanted to order a second plate. I love the food at L’Abattoir and dine here every time I come to Vancouver.

Food and service were excellent, the historical building setting was unique and cozy. A little chilly inside on a winter day, but nothing that would take away from the experience. I would recommend for sure, and would certainly eat here again.

We shared the blind sharing menu. The cryo watermelon+crispy prosciutto salad was light and tasty. The pork belly in the Char Sui Crispy Pork Belly Bao Buns was superbe. The cauliflower was cooked until tender with a sweet oriental sauce in the Kapow Cauliflower to create an interesting dish. The Linguini+Guanciale Carbonara was tasty. The Chicken Schnitzel was slightly overcooked and came with a gnocchi and cream sauce. I guess I am a traditionalist in that I prefer chicken schnitzel simply with a squirt of lemon juice. The Dark & Stormy Beef Short Rib was melt in your mouth tasty. The Ginger Crème Brule and Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse were both very good. The 3 flights of wine complimented the meal well. The first, a Spanish viognier was particularly interesting and matched the salad perfectly. A selection of non-alcoholic wines would have been appreciated by one of our party. Something for Next to aspire to in the future. Overall this was an exceptional dining experience.

I recently celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday at e18hteen, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From the very beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I reached out to them ahead of time to arrange a special surprise, and they were incredibly accommodating with all my requests whether it was helping with decorations, setting up a cozy atmosphere, or making sure we had the perfect table for the occasion. When we arrived, the setup exceeded all expectations. The ambiance was intimate and elegant, with thoughtful touches that made the night feel truly special. My girlfriend was overjoyed, and the team’s attention to detail really made the celebration unforgettable. The service throughout the evening was exceptional friendly, attentive, and always eager to ensure we had a memorable experience. e18hteen really knows how to create a perfect setting for a celebration. I've been bringing my family to Ruth Chris Markham since it opened in November, 2018. The quality of the food, preparation and service are all top notch. Prices are obviously higher now due to inflation, but when I go to eat at a nice steakhouse, I don't mind paying a bit more for the better experience. Eating here is always a treat.

What a wonderful experience! This was our first time at Sabor and I can't say enough about the quality of the food or the expert wait staff. Our waiter took great pride in guiding us through the menu and in assisting us to making selections that best met our interests. When the food arrived, we were treated to a glorious culinary adventure befitting this wonderful restaurant. If you haven't been, go, you will not be disappointed. The tenderloin and the Halibut & Shrimp dishes were particularly worth the visit. It was clear to us that the people who work for Sabor are very proud of their establishment and went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our time at Sabor. For example, despite how busy the restaurant was this evening, another waiter took us on a quick tour of the restaurant simply because we had shown interest in seeing more of the beautiful decor.The atmosphere felt like we were in a divine home in Portugal being treated by friends to a home-cooked and locally-sourced delectable meal. This is a must visit in Edmonton!

We were searching for another hidden gem in our great city of Toronto to have an amazing grown-up dinner. Scaramouche was it! I've known about the restaurant for years but never booked it. It was well worth the wait. For those visiting it for the first time, it's tucked away is a very quiet residential Cul-du-sac off to the east of the residential building. So, yes, you are in the right place and the valet parking for the restaurant makes it even more convenient. The service team are professional and courteous. The view of the city of Toronto and the centerpiece of the CN Tower is spectacular. The food was world-class. The wait service is exceptional. And the ambiance was just what the doctor ordered. A wonderfully memorable evening and celebration for us as an accomplished couple. This is now on our list for special occasions.

Always a great meal at the Nash. Service is 10/10. This was the YYC EXP and the value was excellent. Shrimp ceviche and pork tenderloin were standouts on the prix fix, but everything was tasty and beautifully presented.

Perhaps the Wooly concept is best represented by renowned Canadian artist Charlie Pachter’s Queen on a Moose” paintings. These pictures conveyed what would happen if a British pub was transferred to Canada. That pub would feature local foods, beverages and decor. It would be an All-Canadian pub featuring the best of the British pub culture. A local or home-base pub for its guests.

The Wooly was inspired by the Ontario micro-brewery explosion that occurred in the late 1980’s. The brewery industry was dominated by 3 large companies for over 40 years until the start of the craft brewery phenomenon. Teaching a course on beers at the University of Guelph Bob Desautels was keenly aware of this development. When an opportunity to open a pub in downtown Guelph emerged he decided to feature only small micro-brews on tap.

The rest is history!

My wife and I treated ourselves to our annual dinner at Vineland Estates and, as always, we were blown away. We both opted for the chefs curated dinner with wine pairings and every course was amazing. The ingredients are so fresh and the ideas are so creative and inspired. My wife is has a gluten allergy and the chefs had no issue making dishes for her that were equally delicious. The hostess and server with both very friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. The restaurant itself is warm, beautiful, and comfortable. This is a meal that we look forward to every year and can’t wait for the next one!

Food was phenomenal. If you want wood fire pizza then you need to go here. Small spacing allows for an intimate setting but it is a little noisy. Staff were quick and responsive. A true gem in the city.

Birthday dinner with the family. We were 5, plenty of room. The service was excellent and the server knew the offered products very well and was able to make great recommendations. Too bad the place closed, this was a jewel!
