Not our first time having breakfast at El Ciclo, and again it did not disappoint. Our chilaquiles rojos with cheese and chorizo, crowned with a couple of over-easy eggs was very delicious. As dessert we ate pan de muerto and it also was very good. Overall, 5-star breakfast.

This is like the Platonic ideal of a cafe. It's listed as French although the menu also includes dishes that are Mexican, Italian, American, or some fusion of the above (Tequila creme brulee, anyone?). But the various cuisines blend harmoniously. They make excellent salads and vegetable dishes and a pretty mean pizza, too. The menu offers a classic steak frites and a daily fish dish, house made desserts, and a wonderful array of coffee and hot drinks as well as cocktails. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating, and although the cafe overlooks a busy road, there is enough greenery to make it feel like an oasis. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Beware: the in-house bakery sells out early, and it can get noisy and crowded at peak times.

The food overall was very good. My Roquefort beef medallions were cooked medium, exactly as I ordered them. There was a “trio” playing boleros, at a very pleasant volume. Overall a good experience as usual. One of the main reasons I keep coming back is because it’s such a beautiful place: the Mexican flavor, the garden, the birds. Another reason: the tortilla soup.

The food is great, but I wasn't surprised. Expected more from a place that received the '100 imperdibles de México' award. The service was Ok. I went on a Wednesday and the restaurant wasn't full but had two big tables. Our waiter was very busy and getting their attention was difficult. Good experience. Good food. Ok services. Overall good, but did not blow me away. For the price tag, there might be better places in the City.

Food was amazing, the place is lovely but most of areas is smoke permitted which was a shock for us. We had to change tables because it was 10 am it was an semi inside area and people were already smoking

We mentioned when we were there last week how disappointed were that the Onion soup was not on the menu. We told the staff that we wished it would be added back. Well we went last night and the scrumptious soup was the chef special. We were so very happy. Thanks to the chef for having it on the menu.

Located just in front of the park. It was pretty busy. There is a terrace at the front with live music, but we went inside to a beautifully decorated restaurant. We started with a Tuna Tiradito, and it was great. Had the Chipotle Albondigas and didn’t disappoint. Definitely will be back

To celebrate my birthday while traveling to SLP, me and my family searched for a nice place to have a Bday breakfast. Malo Cafe did not disappoint at all! The restaurant was cozy, the service was good, our dishes were delicious and the cappuccinos were amazing! I had two cups… could not get enough. Thank you taking care of us and making it a nice Bday moment. Cheers.
