My family and I had dinner last night and our server (whose name I have ironically forgotten) was having a bit of an off night and made a few mistakes with drinks and things, thought not with food orders. It was pretty loud and busy, so it was perfectly understandable, but you could tell it was frustrating him a bit. He handled it with good humour though and that helped make our night. The excellent service came with excellent food and it was a really good experience.

The food is consistently delicious and very authentic Italian. My family and I have been coming here for at least 15 years and I have absolutely never been disappointed by any dish. We have introduced The Golden Boot to many other family members and friends and they all love it as well. The best Caesar salad I’ve ever had, yummy appetizers, amazing pasta dishes (the lasagna and tagliatelle bolognese are my two top picks but I’ve tried almost all of them and they are amazing), delectable pizza and tasty desserts (get a tub of tiramisu to go).

Really amazing, from start to finish, wonderful, friendly and attentive staff, but not overly attentive that they were bothering you, and the food was fantastic, highly recommend the butter leaf wraps, to die for, the scallops, the 3 way toast and dips were gorgeous, had to have a second batch of toast, It was so good. Mains were equally as impressive, have to shout out the salmon, though, cooked to perfection. 10/10, would come back anytime.

I think this was my most delicious restaurant meal ever. Seriously. My first visit and not my last! Leslie our server could not have been better--cheerful and genuine and efficient. I hate noisy crowded places and this restaurant is spacious and quiet even when all the tables are full. The food was beyond delicious. We chose Loondocks by going online and looking at the menu. The descriptions of the meals brought us in and ensured we got exactly what we wanted. We had the house white wine and it was delicious with the baked brie appetizer and the bread basket as well as the Arctic char. For a couple of days afterwards I couldn't get this meal out of my head! It was that good. I highly recommend this place for a special date, anniversary, or occasion. We only went here because our old usual place was not available, and it was an opportunity to try a different restaurant in Burlington. I'm so glad we did.

Make this a destination when in Vancouver. Travelling from the UK we were given the place as a must go to, by a Canadian friend and it didn’t disappoint. Great staff, wine list carefully created and the sommelier helped us find the perfect match for our food, and the food was perfect, two of our group had a pasta dish which they raved about, my friend and I had the pork belly special that was cooked perfectly. The ambience is buzzy but not overbearing, people waxing lyrical about the food no doubt. Will return if ever back in Vancouver !

The service was the greatest service I’ve ever received. The waiter was super attentive; I didn’t touch the pitcher once, he came by frequently to fill water, exchanged cutlery when needed, and cleared the table with precision. The food was excellent, and I would say it was a nearly perfect experience. The one note (which is so small) would be to have warm bread as opposed to room temp/cold bread. It would’ve kept the level of the experience up. On the note of food- steak was cooked to perfection. Big recommend.

Uli's son Tyson took over operations in 2008 and he picked up right where his father left off – providing the White Rock waterfront with a fun and relaxed place to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere, stunning water views, refreshingly simple food, an extensive international beer list, and a diverse selection of wines. Chef Jennie Silk is also making quite an impression on locals as they flock for her impeccable local flavours on the menu.

Uli’s is my favorite local restaurant. It’s where we choose to go for all celebrations, to take out of town guests, and for no occasion at all. All our family now ask to go there when we visit. I appreciate the gluten free options, the servers are always so nice, you can’t beat the view, and the food has always been delicious.

First time to Valley and thought it was a charming. the Christmas decor reminded me of a cosy English cottage. The food was exceptional, the wine excellent and our party of four thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Yes, I would recommend it to friends and plan to take some friends there next week!

Very good food - Started with a salad and scallops - very good with pork belly. For dinner we had salmon and bolegnese - needed some comfort food. Service was a little slower than I like, but very very attentive to detail. I would definitely recommend - overall a very good experience.

A wonderful meal, every dish was excellent. It was beautifully presented and the quality of the ingredients was allowed to shine. We enjoyed the Masumi Aka Yamahai Junmai Ginjo sake with our dinner We had wonderful pickles to start, the matsutake tempura was a seasonal treat, the kale goma-ae was the best I've tasted, the sable fish was delicate and perfectly prepared, the red wine miso stew had a delicious umami sauce and we finished off with a spectacular Kabocha cheesecake for dessert. It was comfortable seating and the music was soft. the perfect ambiance for a relaxing dinner and quiet conversation.
