My wife and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary, and from start to finish, our evening was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome; they were engaging, polite, and attentive. The food, from our appetizers to dessert, was exquisite.

All the food we had was delicious! Our server was very attentive and was helpful when we were trying to figure out what to order. Also, they brought us free champagne because it was our anniversary which was so sweet! All the food is meant to be shared, so I recommend getting a bunch of things and sharing everything so you can try more of the menu! We will definitely be back.

We were so very saddened to hear that Bishop’s is closing. It has been our favourite restaurant since John opened in 1985. His impact on the dining scene in Vancouver, and everyone involved in the industry, is immeasurable. The staff, current and past, have always been exceptional. Our last night was a bittersweet experience. Of course, the food and service were excellent, as usual, and John was the consummate host. It was difficult to say goodbye, so we didn’t. It’s just until next time, somewhere…

This is the best restaurant I’ve experienced in GTA by far, the service, the food, the drinks and the list goes on. If you are looking for amazing night out for romance or just to relax. This is the spot, I will be visiting here again and the one in Mexico. Lovely experience, thank you to all staff.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary here and it did not disappoint! We had the chefs menu and it was unbelievable. Probably the best meal I've ever had. The flavours were insane. I highly recommend if you are looking to splurge.

Small place with kinda weird ambiance but the service is good and noise low. The food was good, and we felt it was a teensy overpriced but it’s a ‘boutique’ restaurant so whaddya expect?! Will go back!

We visit Keg often (both Alberni and Yaletown) but we absolutely love visiting the Alberni location and Craig is absolutely fabulous. He is personable and manages our table with efficiency and ease. It is always a pleasure to visit the Alberni location with hopes that Craig is the server. As always, the Keg on Alberni has high food standards that are always met. We’ve visited several locations and hands down, this location always exceeds our expectations. From the greeting to the end of the meal, Keg offers consistent stellar service. I highly recommend.

The experience was great for and great service - as usual. We've been visiting here for many years, although infrequently. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Gastown, so I looked forward to showing my SIL this place. As my SIL was still recovering from a bout of diverticulitis, I didn’t order a bottle of wine. I had two wines by the glass, and we shared a few dishes. We started with their fabulous bread service, then a Dungeness Crab salad, an Artichoke tart and their Terrine of Fois Gras. Our “main” was their Agnolotti. I had a glass of 2022 Garnier et Fils Chablis with the salads and a glass of 2016 Synchromesh Pinot Noir from Storm Haven Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, BC with foie gras and agnolotti. The Artichoke Tart was half salad, half egg custard tart with pieces of artichoke between the two. It was a light, refreshing dish. The Dungeness Crab Salad was a visual surprise … the crab was placed between thin slices of radish and decorated with green leaves. It was interesting; perhaps a little too subtle in flavor for me. The foie gras terrine came with two thick pieces of brioche. The square of terrine was decorated with squares of wine jelly, and cherry halves. The terrine was soft and silky and the brioche so buttery. The star of the evening was the Sweet Corn Agnolotti. Pillows of mascarpone pasta were covered with pieces of sweet corn and a generous helping of sliced black truffle. This dish was “to die for” and I wanted to order a second plate. I love the food at L’Abattoir and dine here every time I come to Vancouver.

Last Best Brewing & Distilling opened its doors in May 2015. The name Last Best draws from Calgary’s eclectic history. At the end of the 1800s, the Canadian government launched a campaign called ‘The Last Best West’; it’s purpose was to populate the western prairies and grow agriculture in Canada.

The administration believed that this area was the Last Best chance in the modern world for homesteaders to lay roots and shape their futures. The accomplishments resulting from the Last Best initiative have paved the way for the budding craft beer and distilling industries here in Alberta.

Last Best Brewing & Distilling honours this historical spirit through its name and unwavering commitment to making delicious well-crafted beer, spirits and Alberta-inspired cuisine.

Always good! Only complaint was the kitchen was a little slow and then when food came they sent out all of our food within 5 mins and we were a very large table so it just seemed a bit odd it wasn’t coursed. Overall a good experience, just something to think about!

My girlfriend and I went to Minami a couple weeks ago and even though its the same group and similar menu, the food just happens to be better at Miku! Even the tofu salad which she likes looked and tasted better. Will definitely come back :)

Had a funny phone call before hand confirming reservation - the girl sounded young and didn’t say who it was on the phone, and just asked if I’d be there that evening… but other then that - service was pretty good!

Overall it was a great night. Food came out slow but they were slammed all at once and the waiter Sunny proved to be a real professional. Without any complaints made about the slow service he took it upon himself to have one of our bottles of wine Comped for the wait. Excellent place to dine at, I highly recommend it.

Always a great meal at the Nash. Service is 10/10. This was the YYC EXP and the value was excellent. Shrimp ceviche and pork tenderloin were standouts on the prix fix, but everything was tasty and beautifully presented.

Fries portion with burger was pretty small comparing… and otherwise regular tasting, so only 3* for this. also had rigatoni and a yuzu salad. Latter was great, however the chicken again fairly small. Service was nice, but forgot the starter completely without even noticing or mentioning. As the main had already arrived we decided not to insist. On the positive side, the ambience is lovely and the food came fast, and even the soft refills without even asking. So overall a 4*

This is an awesome spot. Great service, great food. The servers are highly attentive, polite and extremely friendly. Have been many times because of this and will go many times going forward. Actually I would retract my positive reviews as I don’t want too many people wanting to enjoy the experience. Don’t go there. Please.

Make this a destination when in Vancouver. Travelling from the UK we were given the place as a must go to, by a Canadian friend and it didn’t disappoint. Great staff, wine list carefully created and the sommelier helped us find the perfect match for our food, and the food was perfect, two of our group had a pasta dish which they raved about, my friend and I had the pork belly special that was cooked perfectly. The ambience is buzzy but not overbearing, people waxing lyrical about the food no doubt. Will return if ever back in Vancouver !

The service was excellent. We had the kale salad to start/share and it was so good. Tangy and fresh. The bread with dip, garlicky and good. My daughter ordered the halibut which she loved. I tried it and it was tasty. I had the meatballs, the flavour was good, however, very dry unfortunately. Crème brûlée for desert which the server added a candle for my daughter’s birthday! Very thoughtful! We love this restaurant and are grateful for good quality food and a fantastic wine list. We will be back!

Booked for Anniversary Lunch to try something new. As we arrived, we noticed a MIchelin 2024 sign outside.. which was a good sign. When we entered, we were greeted warmly, and were asked "Did you hear the news?" to which I replied, "The Micelin Award I saw outside?" They said, YES, they had just been awarded it. Well, the reason that matters, is the dishes we were served lived up to that award. Amazing lunch, exquisite food and world class service. Will be back for sure.

Uli’s has been our «  go to » for many years now. We’ll go in for lunch on occasion, but it’s been a staple for many birthdays, anniversaries and New Year’s Eve celebrations. The staff, atmosphere and food have always been been the big draw. Celebrated our 26 year anniversary with them last night. A++

The menu selections had changed since the last visit (June 2024), and the options offered were very acceptable. The only negative was that the East Coast oysters were unusually too small and were not tasty.
