The results are in and we are proud to announce the OpenTable 2018 Top 50 Fit for Foodies restaurants in the UK. This year’s list was determined by analysing more than 730,000 reviews left by our diners. The top ranked restaurant received their award at Restaurant Magazine’s National Restaurant Awards on June 11th. Below you will find our top 10 ranked restaurants, followed by those that make up the top 50 highlighted in alphabetical order.

We are an independent restaurant in the heart of Chester offering microseasonal dining with menus designed around what's growing on our farm in Daresbury. Menus change every four to six weeks.
Happy Hour is available in our lounge from 4-6pm on Thursday-Saturday with "Two for £15" Cocktails, wine and beer specials.

Beautiful lunch in a really lovely venue with super waiting staff. Well worth the little extra in cost for something really special.

We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary lunch at Peace & Loaf. Their midweek lunch time menu deal is great value and had a lovely array of dishes. Service was excellent and our waitress explained all the dishes to us perfectly.

We had a lovely dinner here as part of a trip to Brighton. Fabulous harissa carrots, yummy cauliflower wings, a potato and beetroot dish and a delicious linguine. Staff were great and we loved our dinner and our experience here.

The dining was superb. Three of us including one guest thoroughly enjoyed the dining and the atmosphere. The pre dinner drinks were a bit slow and a touch erratic - I for one had to ask for a cocktail stick for the cherries in my whisky sour, also having to return to the bar for several napkins. The nibbles did arrive virtually when we had finished our drinks. The restaurant was very busy, which probably explains the points I have mentioned, As I said, the dining and service at the table were excellent. The scallops were divine, the venison perfect, the puddings (rum babas) were heavenly, the wine at £53 a bottle was perhaps a bit over the top, but it paired perfectly with the meal. To see the restaurant full on a Wednesday evening is testament to the quality of the dining. We very much look forward to our next dining experience at 21. Thank you to all of the staff who were,as ever, very friendly and proficient. Thank you.
