If you want top quality service and food and haven't been here yet, make it a priority to go. The steaks are cooked as you like them with an assortment of sauces and sides. I had the filet mignon (11oz) with a garlic and shallot sauce. I chose mashed potatoes as my side together with the green beans and squash. My starter was a cesear salad. The wine menu offers a wide variety of choice. Our waiter was super attentive and full of suggestions when asked. You won't be disappointed.

I’ve been a chop customer all across western Canada and now thankfully in the GTA. What is unique to chop is their Alberta beef sold in all their stores across the nation. What is also unique is their consistency. I have never had to send a steak back because it was improperly cooked (unlike the keg). The flavour of every menu item is always perfection in my experience so they have mastered consistency and that is special these days. Service, always excellent and consistent as well. Out server was friendly and attentive. The Chop is head and shoulders above the rest of the steakhouses in and around the GTA. I can’t be positive enough with respect to Chop.

Glad I made a reservation on Open Table and requested a quiet table. It was the perfect table in the corner. Service was quick, efficient and entertaining. Our waiter had a great sense of humour. Generally good with great service. One person in our party asked them to turn down the music because it was hard to talk over and was addressed immediately. Our guests really enjoyed their meals (salmon and buger) but my steak was tough and hubby's chicken Madeira pasta was average. The food was great as usual. We attempted to cash in an Open Table cheque which we were informed was expired and that Open Table was no longer issuing. The manager was so kind to explain the change and took a good amount of the bill off to make up the difference in the cheque amount. It was customer service at its highest. We will definitely be back (and better informed)!

My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and the free dessert was a wonderful surprise. Our servers was also outstanding! Will certainly return to Moxies again.

This is a great informal spot centrally located in the heart of the theatre district. Prompt and friendly service, good food, great Happy Hour deals from 3:00 to 7:00. Pretty noisy so you'll need to lean in for any intimate conversations!
