Breakfast with extended family. Great service, very elegant atmosphere, several options in the menu (including French, International and Mexican dishes). I tried the croque madam, was good, but was prepared as a sandwich, vs an “open” sandwich (not sure how authentic this version is). Fruit juices were very good, as well a coffee. Clientele dressed for business (weekday breakfast) Prices are expensive for Mexico, but very reasonable compared with similar level of place in other countries. I’ll be happy to comeback several times.

One of the nicest restaurants we visited in Puebla during our 7-day stay between Puebla and Oaxaca. Also, one of the best moles we tried in this region; Mole Coloradito with Guajolote was the best. Our friend Alfredo was very attentive with us. He recommended almost every dish that we had and they were the best recommendations. We love that the restaurant reminded us of our anniversary (I forgot why we had made the reservation). The Murals on the walls were one of the best parts.

Food was spectacular. Every bite. Service was very slow in the beginning and not particularly helpful in terms of communication and recommendations. We asked how much to order and were guided to order about 2-3 extra dishes, which meant we could not enjoy a dessert. Need more by the glass wines as well. That said, they never rushed us (despite time limits), and each dish came on its own so we could truly enjoy them fresh. The restaurant and environment are gorgeous and not overly loud like many other places in CDMX. The food is fancy and very special without being inaccessible. And again, every bite was perfect!!!!!

We recently dined at Matete Restaurant in Cabo, and it was a delightful experience. The vibe of the place was fantastic—relaxed yet lively, with an inviting atmosphere enhanced by an adorable dog that adds a unique touch to the dining experience. The food was exceptional —fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Overall, a wonderful combination of great food, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere. I was on a solo trip for my birthday and read about Samos in a blog. I decided I would eat here to have a nice view and treat myself. It was the best decision I could’ve made. The service was great. The food was delicious and the price reasonable. Last but not least, the view was amazing. I’d recommend going around sunset, which was when my reservation was, or during the day to best enjoy the view.

I loved the peacefullness of this place and the great ocean views. Everyhting we ordered was very tasty and freshly prepared. The famous chilaquiles were especially food. And the coffee is unlimited! Tried the famous french toast, shared between us, really delicious but definately too much for one! A little more expensive than other places but worth it for the experience.
