Our time at the rec room was so much fun! There was 9 of us and the vibes were amazing the entire night. Music was bumping, the Leafs game was on the TVs and the games after dinner were so much fun! Definitely the highlight of the night along with the Photo Booth. Drinks were delicious we all had a great time!

Since Covid, I have noticed a HUGE decline in customer service at restaurants. And everyone wants a tip; whether they have earned one of not. SPK has remained totally steadfast when it comes to customer service. Our waiter last night(as is the norm for SPK) was charming, he made us feel important and appreciated and it was a pleasure to leave him a tip! SPK does not disappoint when it comes to staff. Of course, the food is great too!!! Going to a restaurant should be an event(god knows everything costs an arm and a leg these days), and I always feel like it’s an event at SPK.

The restaurant is casual chic: modern Danish furnishings are paired with acrylic tabletops in a multitude of vibrant colours. Etched glass and vertical-grain Douglas fir also accent the space. With a dedication to using the best local produce, menus reflect seasonal changes and availability. Ingredients are sourced from the finest suppliers and farms, and are cooked simply to showcase the natural flavours of the food.

The food at the AGO Bistro is always very fresh and beautifully prepared. The wait staff are excellent. Thank you for a wonderful New Year’s Day Big Brunch that was absolutely delicious and left us feeling very satisfied but not stuffed. The Old Surrey Restaurant is Surrey’s best well- kept secret. Built in 1918, it was the residence of Lou Jack and his household until it was converted into a restaurant in 1974.

The interior has a crisp, clean aesthetic that is enhanced by hardwood floors and the enlarged photos of historic Surrey that adorn the walls. There are five distinct dining areas on the top floor (including a cozy library) and a banquet facility downstairs. The cuisine is French with a splash of West Coast flare. A treat for new and seasoned guests alike are the signature dishes that are prepared and flambeed tableside.

The restaurant is family owned and operated since 1975. Since 1984 the restaurant has entered into a partnership with the family farm in Ryder Lake overlooking Chilliwack from the nearby mountains. The Old Surrey is well known for its free-range lamb and veal allowing customers to enjoy fresh organic ingredients.

We were recommended by our friend and boy, are we glad we came. The food was amazing and our servers were attentive and friendly. It was an enjoyable evening from start to finish. Recommend the tableside Caesar salad and crepes suzette. We would definitely come back again.

Everyone was nice but I felt like our table was a bit forgotten and the food was just okay. We'd go back there but probably not for dinner. Just the entertainment. That said, the lack of activities other than the video games (bowling, pingpong and pool were all booked) left a lot to be desired too.

Terroni Adelaide, formerly the York County Courthouse, is a multi-level heritage structure built in 1852. Just inside the doors is the Enoteca with its towering columns, a great spot for cocktails. Beyond is the main dining room, with a sunlit atrium, fireplaces on each end and private rooms all serviced by an open kitchen where our chefs prepare traditional Italian fare. In summer, the secret garden patio opens for al fresco dining in the heart of the city.

Head down to the Cantina Wine Cellar where you will see the original courthouse cells now used to store our Italian wine. The second floor houses the grand Sala da Pranzo and Bar delle Carceri, named after the cells below. Il Covo degli Artisti, our third-floor space is a cosy lounge once home to The Arts and Letters Club where Canadian landscape painters “The Group of Seven” ate and drank in 1909.

It was a great experience - had not been out for a while and the decor is great. Food was tasty, not extremely inventive, but good, solid Italian fare, we had a great evening! Even our 14 year old daughter who does not like to go out. She says it was the food that made her happy!

Another outstanding meal at Terroni Queen Street! I had the spaghettini with lobster which was a special New Year offering. We all shared the Focu Meu pizza with eggplant and spicy ‘nduja sausage. The wine list is extensive even for wines by the glass. Everything was perfect including the service. And I love the new layout since the renovations.

 Enjoyed the fresh homemade food. It’s nice to see a family run business prosper and do very well. I would definitely come back as there are many things on the menu they have something different every time.

Nice wine, nice appetizers, lovely service. Reasonable prices. Quiet until rather inappropriate music was turned on after 5:00 p.m. Everything was very nice; the only disappointment was that music, which then made conversation difficult. And it wasn't music befitting the atmosphere generally.

We were surprised at how small the menu now is and there is very limited options for vegetarians. My mother struggled for an option that wasn’t seafood or meat . Out waitress went out of her way to get the chef to make something off menu for her . They were out of the wine I ordered so she gave me an upgrade at the same price which was amazing . My Eggplant parmigiana was very tasty and I enjoyed it . However my husbands chicken parmigiana was chewy .
