Went on Sat for brunch. Excellent service, food was delicious. There was a d.j playing nice old school music. I will definitely come back again soon.

One of our favorite restaurants for 30 years. The food is always good, the proportions are generous, and the service is friendly. It's a wonderful spot in the Hawthorne district, and a restaurant we visit often for special occasions.

This was our first time here. They were out of the beet salad, so we shared the kale Caesar instead. It was very delicious with very tender kale and just the right amount of dressing (not too fishy). We also shared the margherita pinsa. It was a good size for two people and the crust was perfect. I would recommend this restaurant, albeit it is a bit pricey.

We had 1pm reservations for lunch. We were greeted by the hostess and seated immediately. Our order was taken and explained and the food arrived in a timely manner. The server checked often to see if the was anything we needed. A very pleasant experience. The food was delicious.

Lunch as usual was delicious, Betto box is always great value for the money. Yesterday was Caesar salad, cream of mushroom soup, spaghetti with marinara and mushroom and finally salmon over mashed potatoes. We also ordered focaccia bread and tortellini. Service was attentive without being intrusive. One of our favorite place to meet for lunch.

Overall food and drinks were great. Recommend getting the molcajete. Only thing is we ordered the Texas queso w/ ground beef as an appetizer to have with drinks but it never came out. Our food got to the table and the waitress came later to ask how everything was and told her we never received queso. She brought it out right away but no meat so told her just to bring it on the side.

Such a wonderful restaurant EVERY single time. The service is amazing and the food is perfect. The salad bar is incredible with lots of options. The meat just keeps coming and coming all kinds cooked perfectly! The best thing about this place is the service, you will always feel welcome. First time for Sunday Brunch for us and Coast 236 did not disappoint! Very nice, varied menu and dishes were beautifully served. Our server, Matt, was very attentive, friendly and fun. He is a keeper! We have dined at Coast on several dinner occasions and once again, chef did a beautiful job with brunch. So glad you are open in the winter!

We tried this restaurant over the weekend and had an enjoyable experience. The food was delicious!! Nice southern food. The drinks were amazing!! The band was great. We sat near them and thought we would be dead after but the noise level was perfect. I love that they have a screen that displays the band so no matter where you sat you could see what was going on.

He was one of the critical staff who created some of today’s popular dishes back in 2009. Don's is a fun experience. The food is very good and rather unique. Service was great. One complaint was the music volume was too high and made brunch conversation difficult. And what is brunch without chatting! Oh and I really dislike the fact that they add 19% tip and the servers have to explain that the 19% is the pooled tip. Ownership is basically forcing the wait staff to beg for anything additional. Puts the servers in a bad place and makes me a bit angry that I am forced to supplement the owners payroll across the board. Neither point of contention will keep me from returning.

The best mole I have ever tasted! This is not a one-note sauce which I find to be more common in places I have eaten mole dishes, outside of Mexico. The flavor starts out earthy/sweet then the smoky, warm, rich spices come through. I highly recommend the mole enchiladas!

It was half-price wine (over $100) Wednesday, and my companion and I shared a 2015 Dirupe Grumello (Nebbiolo) from Valtellina Superior for $75, which was a great restaurant price. It was recommended for us and decanted by the wine steward. We also had an appetizer of tempura chile stuffed with whole shrimp that was delicious, followed by a good burrata and pesto pizza and a side of wild mushrooms. Altogether a terrific evening.

This is a real gem to have in Wichita (or close by). We started out with a mushroom kabob that was just unbelievable. Then for the bread course we were served popovers that were fantastic. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly. To finish it off we had sweet potato ice cream paired with a cookie crumble and homemade marshmallows drizzled with honey and then carmalized. Every time we eat here it is a delicious creative experience.

We came with houseguests from out of town and had a delightful time. Our out of town visitor (with 3 sons) remarked to us at dinner how much he liked *not* having any background music and that it wasn’t an issue because there was enough ambient noise in the restaurant that you couldn’t hear conversations at other tables. That said, there was a man dining alone at the table immediately behind where I was sitting — he had some TV or other show playing on his mobile device and for some reason, he wasn’t using headphones / AirPods, so that was annoying to me but I decided not to ask him to use headphones. I don’t think it would have been right for your staff to ask him to use headphones or turn off the sound — the only other idea I had was for you to keep a few pairs of cheap (airline-style) wired headphones or earbuds that your staff could have offered to that guest so he could use them while there (or he might have gotten the hint not to have something playing loudly on his device like that!). Obviously, this is a “first world problem” that tells you I had a great time otherwise!!! Campbell was our waitress, but when our out-of-town visitor asked her about having a more substantive tuna appetizer, Shannon came to our table and kindly offered to bring the entrée version of the tuna as an appetizer and that was PERFECT — thanks!!! We ordered the lamb special. We love lamb, but it isn’t always made well. Our lamb tonight was incredible. My only disappointment is that I ate it all and have none to bring home. Mike, the chef, cooked the most perfect lamb I have had in a long time!!

During these trying times, we are trying to adjust our service so that customers feel safe but still have a great Ki's experience. Daytime service is as it always has been: order at the counter and the food will be brought to you in the seating area we have created outside under the tents. Night-time is full service. Sunday through Thursday is upstairs. The tables are spaced far apart and there is an option of being out on the front deck for parties of two. On Friday and Saturday, we will be offering full service in both seating areas of upstairs and under the tents outside.

Just a few words about the host on Jan. 1. There was a line forming at the door and I asked the host about being seated. He replied that it was 2 minutes before 11:00 and LB doesn't open until 11:00!!!!!!!! What hospitality he showed!!!!!! His behavior was not acceptable. Thank you, Sally Porter

A good meal and quiet enough to visit with our partners. A good experience. One of our group had a difficult order, which made the waiter misunderstand us. Probably not his fault, but he was a bit quick to presume. All the same, a good experience at a restaurant we've been to many times - and we'll enjoy many more visits I expect.

The martini's, made to our specs, were perfect. Our appetizer, the brie and fruit plate, was delicious. The wine, a French Pinot Noir, was very, very, good. The salmon was excellent, as was the rack of lamb. The espresso was some of the best we have ever had. There was no trace of bitterness, which is remarkable. The crème brûlée was fine. Our waiter was great. He was friendly, attentive, and always timely. Dining here was a great experience. The only possible negative comment I can make is that the music was a bit loud. However, we were seated directly in front of a speaker.

When I told him it was reopened, he wanted to see if the Mac and cheese was still good 🤣…it didn’t disappoint! Everything was amazing!!! $300 well spent!
