Would recommend for my gluten free friends out there. Food is awesome and accommodating of us with food allergies but would recommend more vegan options as well. At least options existed though so much appreciate for getting a real meal!

We got there before 8am and saw an amazing sunrise and the panoramic view of the sea of clouds. The food was excellent but the view was beyond our expectations and forgottable.

Our server was friendly and courteous. The food was prepared and tabled efficiently, cooked to perfection and delicious. We hadn't been to the Ancaster Mill for several years but will definitely be returning in the near future. Because of the location, parking is a distance involving stairs - we had forgotten how many - so because of our age we will definitely be using the valet service in future.

Every time we visit we're reminded how much we love it - any meal, anytime! The menu has great variety (changing to keep things interesting) Rich and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room itself has a nice vibe & interesting history. One of our fav spots in Vancouver!

We celebrated a birthday here by sharing the chef’s tasting menu and a bottle of wine. The staff were extremely helpful from the start, and they were able to modify the experience to accommodate a celiac allergy. Food was beautiful and delicious, portions were generous, and the ambiance was lovely. Would highly recommend.

We were a table of 4 celebrating one of our friend’s birthday. The food was great with excellent services. The server accommodated us with sharing of desserts, lit a birthday candle for the macaroons. She was polite, courteous and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful week day birthday lunch!😀

Yesterday we made our annual pilgrimage to Cantina Gia to celebrate my partner's birthday. We have long considered the cacio e pepe there to be about the best we can outside of Italy. So we had that, the delicious arancini to start, the rapini for a bit of vegetable matter (delicious!), and we shared a tiramisu for dessert. I don't know why, but I had never notice the flight option for amaro liqueurs on the dessert menu. We decided to do that and got to taste three very different amaros. It was such a fun way to end the evening. Overall, splendid! And we will do it again.

Absolutely delicious as always! Craft Farmacy is one of our favourite restaurants in the city and we had to check out the new menu items and they did not disappoint! The salmon dish was fantastic so flavourful and such a nice addition to the menu! We really enjoyed the fried smelts and oysters to start as well! Some of us did sharables and the cauliflower, bao buns and tuna poke were super tasty! Until next time…

We had a wonderful evening with our friends tonight. Our food was delicious but the Wild mushroom arancini as well as the Ricotta gnocchi were outstanding. We had a relaxed evening with our friends and didn’t feel rushed. We hope to return in the new year.

Housed in two of Vancouver’s most iconic buildings, Homer St Cafe and Bar is a contemporary restaurant set in the base of the historic Homer Building and the Beasley building in Vancouver’s Yaletown district.
Classic comfort cooking takes center stage thanks to a fire engine red rotisserie that roasts all manner of proteins. It’s chicken that’s the star here: served in quarter, half or whole portions, accompanied by classic sides basted in jus.
A decidedly adventurous wine and cocktail list rounds out the menu. Another fabulous meal! Loved the Caesar salad, followed by delicious scallops, cooked beautifully. My dining partner had the lobster bisque and Sablefish, also very tasty. We shared crème brûlée and a berry Pavlova for dessert. Nice selection of wines by the glass. Our server was good, very helpful with helping me find gluten free options and suggestions for courses.

celebrated a wedding anniversary, ordered only dessert. I recommend lemon cheesecake with lemon filling - very tasty. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed for a relaxing holiday, I note that the view from the window is wonderful and changes over the course of more than an hour, that's how long it takes for the restaurant to turn around completely. The staff is pleasant, the presentation of dishes with a fire show is mesmerizing. I highly recommend!

We chose to come to lakehouse for our anniversary. It is a restaurant we’ve been to a few times and even though it’s an hour drive for us, a place we always look forward to. Today’s lunch was amazing. Matthew was our server and took great care of us. We are vegetarian and are impressed with their separate veg menu. The view of the lake was beautiful. Food was amazing as usual. Can’t wait to come again!

Lov Laval used to be one of my favorite all-vegan restaurants, so it’s disappointing to see the changes in both the menu and food quality. I understand the shift to include vegetarian options—if it helps keep the restaurant afloat, it’s better than seeing another vegan spot shut down. That said, the quality of the vegan dishes has noticeably declined. Even staples like the burger and fries are smaller and far less tasty than they used to be. As someone who continues to support vegan-friendly restaurants despite these challenges, I really hope Lov Laval can improve and reclaim the excellence it was once known for.

The Mic Mac Bar & Grill is a family-owned business that began in 1963. At that time, all of the meals were made by the owner’s wife who, incidentally, started off with no experience.

By 1966, Mic Mac Bar & Grill had become a local watering hole for men, but ladies arrived on the scene in 1974. The Mic Mac Beverage Room has become famous for its delicious home-cooked meals, especially its steaks, and provides excellent dining in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The savoury and sweet offerings for High Tea were tasty and provided a good variety of flavours that our group enjoyed. The tea menu is extensive. Service was very good. It’s definitely a filling meal. You could also go instead for tea and a la carte menu choices if you only want a little taste. A really nice escape from a busy day.

Had brunch on the winterized patio. A great setting and enjoyed the people watching in Yorkville. My friend had the pancakes and said they were delicious. I had the turkey sausages and a cherry yogurt danish. Man it was delicious. Service was very good and attentive. Definitely will return!!

The whole experience was great, food and service were fantastic. I got the seafood medley pasta and the other person got the 12oz charred steak. The portions were very generous and lots of seafood in my dish. Our server was very attentive and funny. We arrived early for our reservation and got a table right away. We were seated in the bar which was small and more casual. The only thing to make the experience better would be more tasteful Christmas music instead of sounding like you’re in a Walmart shopping. Maybe some more classic or instrumental would set the atmosphere better in this nice restaurant.

Another fantastic meal at The Canteen. Our whole dining experience this evening was top notch. Jaida, our server, was engaging, attentive and the service was spot on. Our bartender made a perfect Pisco Sour. Good selection of wines. The meal was fantastic: heirloom carrots with zhug and almonds, frites with an amazing garlic aioli, grilled bok choy caesar salad and a filet mignon to die for. Grilled perfectly, as was the halibut with navy beans. Too full for dessert, but artisanal chocolates were brought out with a sparkler for my husband’s birthday. We have consistently had fabulous meals at The Common Stove and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Date night. We enjoyed the Chef’s tasting menu with wine pairing. The service, explanations and descriptions of each food and wine course was expertly crafted and delivered. Fantastic Holiday outing for the gals. We each had the The Monarch Tea (which includes the cheese course-highly recommended). There were four of us. Next time I would order the Prince Tea to add a charcuterie element to the table (Plus I'm a girl but I love scotch). Service was amazing. More tea than you can drink. The Kir Royale was a hit with the Mom's (super festive). Well worth the price.

Always a pleasure at the Lookout. Their winter menu items are simply fantastic. The soup is an excellent starter and the scallop risotto did not disappoint. Our server Morgan was kind, attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend.

With an evolving, seasonal and whimsical approach, our passion is what drives us every day. We strive to push the limits, and for our team, it is just what we love to do. We cook from scratch because that is just the way it should be. We love to challenge the way we all think about dining out.

We believe that there is no reason to put yourself in a box when going out with friends, so we do not do that here. Whether it is a night out with friends, an intimate dinner for two, or just something extraordinary, We are not afraid to take the familiar and turn it into something memorable. If it tastes good, we will put it on a plate, in a glass, or whatever. Our mantra is as simple as eat, drink, and enjoy!

Open for breakfast, happy hour & dinner 7 days a week. Reservations are always recommended to ensure the opportunity to see all of beautiful Victoria and the surrounding area. For reservations of groups over 6+, please give us a call!

Additionally, our lounge is open 7 days a week (with happy hour offered daily) and is non-reservable. Seating in our lounge is based on a first come, first serve basis.
