We cannot express how much we loved our dinner experience this evening. Ahmet and staff saw that our birthday dinner celebration was top priority. We felt the love through the dishes, and this dinner will go down as the most memorable of all time for us. We enjoyed the strawberry gazpacho, the tuna tartare, the octopus, the crispy pork belly, the duck, the lamb, the lobster ravioli and then the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate cake to top it all off! We had the fried oyster appetizer and it was excellent. The thin sliced pickled peppers and foamed cheese it was served with were very complimentary to the oysters. I had seared yellowfin tuna and my wife had the cabbage steak. Both were superbly cooked and presented well with complementary flavors. The duck fat washed Sazerac was great.

Silver Dove Afternoon Tea is a full service tearoom in Downtown Boston specializing in English style afternoon tea service. Steps from Government Center and the Freedom Trail, an experience at Silver Dove includes a pot of tea and a curated selection of finger foods. The food is a set menu and fixed price consisting of a variety of finger sandwiches, savory canapés, cakes, scones, macarons and other pastries which rotate seasonally.

We offer 90 minute reservations for afternoon tea Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are available up to six weeks in advance. We can accommodate parties of up to six guests on weekends, and parties of up to twelve guests Wednesday through Friday.

We went for our anniversary! When we got there, they had a beautiful table set up for us with a sign that said happy anniversary, and offered us complementary Prosecco or a free dessert! Cafe Luxembourg offers reservations for indoor dining. Walk-ins are welcome and will be seated according to availability. The outdoor cafe is open from April 1st to November 1st, weather permitting. The restaurant offers outdoor tables on a first come basis.

Due to demand, we are unable to hold your reservation more than 10 minutes past the time it has been booked. Le Yaca began in 1964 in Courchevel, a tiny, country village in the French Alps. Daniele Bourderau & Gerard decided it would be fun to open a small restaurant. When friends learned of their plans, they told the hopeful restaurateurs they were crazy to think people would drive eight kilometers on a winding, icy road for dinner. Daniele and Gerard hesitated for three months and then decided, “yaca le faire,” a contraction of the French phrase “il n’y a qu’a le faire,” which basically means, “let’s do it.” They called the restaurant Le Yaca as a gag, but the name caught on with customers who were amused by the pun and contributed to the restaurant’s lore by inventing “yaca-isms” of their own: yaca y aller (let’s go). Daniele came to the United States and opened Le Yaca in Williamsburg. Daniel Abid bought Le Yaca in 2001.
