Overall I would rate Coombe Estate on the same level as Florentino’s in Melbourne or any top restaurant in Melbourne. The welcome greeting, Irene our wait person, the food, the amazing view, beautiful dining area were AAA top notch. Well done as usual. Was a first time experience at Landscape for my husband and I. The staff were amazing - professional, friendly and welcoming. There were a few in the restaurant and I know from talking to them that they felt as special as we did. The food was next level. We both had a different cut of steak. It was cooked to perfection. The potatoes were cooked beautifully as were the greens. Have to mention the personal wine sommelier was very professional. He was great to talk to about our beautiful wine regions. A lovely touch to the evening. Our waitress was gorgeous, very friendly. The bread was a nice little touch while we were waiting for our steak to cook. We shared an apple tart to finish with and that was faultless. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and we didn’t feel rushed. Everything just flowed. Thankyou Landscape, it was our first visit, certainly won’t be our last. Our families will benefit as well as for Christmas we will give them a voucher, so we can give them a special date night. As we were a group of 9 we had to have a set banquet. That said, the staff were very happy to accommodate any special dietary requests. The food was great, lots of flavour and the right portions, no one went hungry. The service was outstanding. This was the perfect restaurant for a catch up lunch with friends. Highly recommend.
