When it comes to atmosphere, Blacklock has more than the usual chophouse. Diners at this restaurant’s original location in the heart of Soho will find themselves tucking into generous stacks of charcoal-cooked chops in a building that once housed an iconic brothel! Now, however, there’s just plentiful cuts of Cornish meat, cooked to perfection and served with a range of heartily seasoned sides. Great recommendation from a friend when I was in Scotland! We went on Butcher Monday so all cuts of meet were 7 pounds/100g. Starters, sides & meats were amazing! I would absolutely go back on my next visit.

My Husband and I visited Hawkesmoor Air Street for first time today . The Service by Stephen was superb and he made the whole visit an excellent experience. The steaks took a little while to arrive but we were kept informed and when they did WOW !!!! Delicious and surpassed our expectations. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon , until next time .

Blacklock is known for their quirky locations, and this City outpost is no exception. Situated in what was once the largest meat market in the City of London, diners can experience not just the signature chops for which the chain is known, but also an expanded menu of sides ranging from charred courgettes to coal-roasted beets. There’s also a large bar area offering cocktails and wine on tap. Despite the traditional location, Blacklock City doesn’t disappoint when it comes to fun and atmosphere.

I've returned many times to Blacklock City since 2018 and every visit has been excellent. I love the Monday Butcher pricing but the everyday prices are quite fair. The service is exemplary and my waitstaff clearly communicates their pride and enthusiasm working as a team. It's a really good place to visit as a customer, and I think it's a really terrific place to work.

Had an enjoyable dinner with 2 friends: service was excellent, enjoyed cocktails. The only reason for 4* is that the burgers that two of us ordered were served rather cold while our other friend’s food (chicken Kiev) was served hot.

As usual Gaucho at O2 delivered an outstanding meal. The ribeye was so tasty Every mouthful was wonderful The only fownside was the chocolate brownie was tasteless but it took nothing away from the amazing steak.
