Little Social Ratings and Reviews
Little Social holds a very special place in my heart. It's my favorite restaurant in all of London, and that's saying a lot! It's warm and welcoming - the perfect neighborhood spot. Not too upscale, just perfectly comfortable. And the food is wonderful - fresh, inventive and delicious. The staff is professional and friendly. Can't wait til my next meal there!
Great ambience and really enjoyed the background music. We had the pre theatre 3 courses and this was really good value although it did feel a little rushed initially otherwise the service was amazing. We have anchovies on toast for starter which we're delicious, a yummy cottage pie and sticky toffee pudding for dessert.
The food was amazing! I absolutely recommend the mash potatoes to anyone, they are the best mash I have ever tasted in my life and I am not a big mash fan but WOW! :) I had the goat and honey salad which was to die for too :) My boyfriend had a very nice and melty cod. Service was great, prices are reasonable and the ambient is really nice. Absolutely recommended! on a small side street, far from the Regent Street crowd, must see! :)
Pissaladiere very, very, very poor; seriously disappointing.
Smoked Eel stunning.
Cornish Crab stunning.
Fig salad fabulous.
Pork Cutlet, dry, uninteresting; veg garnish fabulous.
Cottage pie, very poor.
Brill pea puree, stunning.
Poached peach, poor.
Sticky toffee, delicious.
I'm confused - I think I booked Little Social, but turned up at Pollen Street Social, which is in the same street but separate. On the other hand, they seemed to be expecting us. So this may be a review for the wrong restaurant. Howsoever, we really had a fantastic meal - this was the fixed price £37 lunch. The bill was many times that, due to the wine (expensive, especially by the glass, but really good quality). We thought the service and the ambience were really excellent, and left feeling happy if somewhat poorer.
A warm welcome followed by a delicious meal. The host was engaging without overbearing and my steak was cooked to my exact liking. We had the tart tatin to finish which comes highly recommended. The ambience was very French Bistro and dark! A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Slightly disappointing that the pork was sold out.
Met a friend in Oxford circus and with so many options of where to dine we decided to check out the nearby deals on Open table. So happy to have found Little Social. The place itself is gorgeous. The food was divine, and the service was friendly and welcoming. We will be back, and have been telling everyone about it. Total gem!
I had been following little social on fb for quite some time. I was visiting from Canda and was so happy to finally try it! It did not disappoint. The service was top notch and the food was outstanding, right down to the bread and butter we ate as we were deciding what to order. Can't wait to visit again!
I recently visited the sister restaurant across the street and was very pleased with everything. I expected the 'little' version to be downplayed but in every respect it was just as good - better even because its quite a lot less formal. Great food, service and vibe.
We were visiting from Vancouver, it was such a treat to find out the chef was also from Vancouver. Highly recommended from our friends in London. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the ambience was beautiful. It was our favorite spot in London.
