Little Venice Restaurant
We had a wonderful experience at Little Venice. It was a little challenging for us because my mother was in a wheelchair and has limited mobility. The hostess and waitress were wonderful and very helpful. It's not always easy taking my mother out for dinner, but we will definitely be going back to Little Venice.
Restaurant Week lunch : rigatoni with vodka sauce, tossed salad, and chocolate mousse. It was outstanding!
We went for my birthday. Staff was courteous and friendly. Food was great and worth the price. I enjoyed my experience at Little Venice.
Thought 3 of our dinners were mediocre. Chicken parm needed a steak knife to cut. Haddock did not taste like it was beer battered, just something from frozen aisle of grocery. Shrimp scampi sauce so thin it settled in botton of bowl, not on pasta or shrimp. 2 other meals were ok. Not what we expected from a great place like Little Venice in the past. You can do better for a Sunday dinner!
Old-style Italian American cuisine done well. Great home-made pasta and parmigiana options in a warm atmosphere with a lovely collection of original art on the walls.
The service took forever. When we asked for oil it took our waitress 20 minutes to get it for us and it wasn’t that busy. The bread looked and tasted store bought. The chicken parm was okay, a few chewy spots but the pasta was horrible. We weren’t sure how an italian restaurant could mess up spaghetti but they did. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
The eggplant had a piece that was very tough in it...we couldn’t even cut it with a steak knife . But once that was removed the rest of the eggplant was tender and delicious. The home made pasta was very heavy and filling -not bad but kinda doughy
It never disappoints! The ravioli and manicotti are my favorites. The tiramisu shooter is a nice ending
Happen to be staying in the area and I was looking up restaurants and this came up and had good reviews. We were able to walk to it and service was friendly and food was delish. Would revisit if in the area again. Highly recommend.
Little Venice makes their own pasta that has a fantastic mouth feel and a sauce that is a secret, there is some kind of tang in the back of your jaw that is so desireable. The collected artworks are old world amazing.
Lovely evening at Little Venice. Food super, service amazing. Thank you.
Service was great!!! The food, the atmosphere and the ability to talk to the person across from you is always perfect. I have a hearing problem and it is always a pleasure enjoying a good meal without all the background noise. One other thing that I have to mention about Little Venice, there portions are large, so most of the time we have leftovers and have a meal to go.
Solid Italian food with a home style taste. Pasta was a bit over cooked, but good flavors. Great, friendly service. Recommended if in the area and craving Italian!
Great food and service. Very busy so the noise level was somewhat elevated.
Always good food and great service at a reasonable price.
We celebrated 3 Birthday's on this occasion. We all loved the food and service was great! We will always return for good Italian food! Thanks for the Birthday coupon too!
As always, we had delicious meals and a wonderful dining experience on my birthday! Marcel also made our evening especially enjoyable! Little Venice is the best!
This was a delightful find in Binghamton. Off street parking in a little lot, walked in and felt welcome. It is part store, part emporium, and a tremendous lot of seating for diners. The food is astonishing. Very simple, very straightforward Italian, all the typical spaghetti, ravioli, chicken parmesan (x3!), which were delicious. The spaghetti in particular is hand cut and freshly made - the pasta itself, and the fresh pasta texture, unmistakable. The meatballs are cylindrical - "logs" and also delicious. The minestrone soup looks like a diner offering but wonderful. Just.Tastes.Good. Maybe we were tired. Maybe we were hungry. But we'll be back next time we're in town. Too full to try the gelato.
There were large parties, celebrations, tables for four, two, but the restaurant is not loud at all. The walls are covered - densely with the personal, and quality art collection of the original owner. Amazing.
We went to the PGA tournament and Keith Urban concert. Made early reservations. Only one other table seated when we arrived. Our greeter/seater Ken was the rudest person we’ve ever encountered at a restaurant. We would have walked out except our waitress Kim saved the evening. She should be given a raise. Other than Ken ruining part of our evening, food was good, big portions, and we had a nice time in Binghamton.
I love LV however this night was not the best! Even with the reservations we had to sit in the bar area which really isn't a problem however they crammed 4 of us into a booth the really should have been for 2 people. We couldn't even move. They were extremely busy for a Tuesday night and service was very slow. Good thing the food is wonderful or I would really have to consider going again!
My cheese ravioli was excellant...the service was excellant & the waitress was very friendly.
Dreadful chicken parmigiana, which is their signature dish. Dry as dust. Absolutely microwaved. Homemade pasta that was refrigerated way too long with just a touch of sauce. Disappointed doesn't cover it.
This is our go to restaurant for our allergy pron granddaughters.GF pasta, steamed broccoli, applesauce and lemonade. I bring their GF bread to enjoy while we have the delicious Italian bread. They love visiting the gift shop!
Enjoyed it very much
best lasagna in the world we love coming here for our yearly visit from arizona
We ventured to Little Venice after their sauce got top ratings in N.Y. The food and service were both great...an authentic Italian experience! We'd love to go back when we visit Binghamton again.
Food was fabulous as always!
Great homemade Pasta and met logs. Portions are huge and very reasonable
Best pasta. Never disappointed. Been coming to Little Venice for years always pleased with staff and food. Also, my wife loved her Manicotti. Will be back again. Job well done!
Birthday party for 8, seating was fine. Server a little unusual, in that he required to start taking the order with a specific spot at the table instead of starting with the first lady, who was also at an end seat. Also, we ordered two appetizers, but he forgot them, then brought them after dinner had started. At that point, he asked if we wanted to have him take them off the bill. Strange position to put the guests in. I know the cost of food, so we said that he brought them, I guess not. Left both on the bill without trying to comp 1 of them. Just not the usual great service.
Consistently good food with excellent service provided by Ken ! Accommodated is even after I messed up reservation. Thank you
Excellent as usual
Always a good meal and great service. Love the sauce!
Amazing place!!! A must stop when in Binghamton
As always, the food for all six of us was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent and the ambiance was perfect.
My family had a great time at Little Venice. Reservation was easy. The ambience was great. We were surrounded by great paintings and my mother in law really enjoyed it. The food was great. We loved the homemade pasta and the sauce.
We were on vacation, passing through Binghamton and Little Venice was a couple of blocks from our hotel so we thought we'd give it a try. We sure are glad we did! It was wonderful. The food was delicious - big salads that came with all pasta and main courses had antipasto veggies in addition to the usual lettuce and tomato. All pasta is house-made and yummy - ravioli parm with a meat-log for me (meat-logs are cylindrical meatballs) and a pasta trio for him - lasagne, spaghetti with meat-log and manicotti. The desserts looked good but we were too full to consider eating any more. I don't know when we'll be in Binghamton again but we would certainly eat there again.
Food was delicious! Server went above & beyond to be sure we had everything we needed. Love the artwork!! I'll definitely go again!!
The food was excellent. The waiter was efficient but came across as indifferent, he wasn't real friendly.
Always enjoy L.V. I was a bit upset that someone brought our food out on a tray and sat it next to our table. After about 5 minutes my husband got up and asked someone at the desk to have it served to us. So in that regard I could not give the service higher stars. The food was very good. We were able to enjoy a family gathering to say good-bye to our grandson , who is serving in the AirForce and will be stationed in Japan for the next two years.
