Second time visiting this restaurant. Love the food here! Staff are nice and friendly.
Food was excellent, service almost too quick, drinks great, staff v friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Great way to end the week!
1st time at this place. Food and staff were amazing. Great venue to eat In. Not only have we already recommended to friends but we have pre booked another visit with friends this time so they can experience the wonderful venue and food.
Perfect. Great food and service. Definitely coming back
Good service, lots of local special dishes but not so keen on raw pork so they cooked well done..
Rack of lamb to die for, and all the food we got was perfectly cooked! will definitely be back if we're in London, we need to try the rest of the menu.
The people in the table next to us was a bit drunk and loud; a very unwelcome part of our meal... Everything else however - Great!
It started with the greeting at the door. So uplifting and welcoming. Thank you for such a lovely occasion. KR Maria
Was a lovely cosy place. Food and staff are amazing.
Just a bit hard to find on Google maps! Otherwise no complaints whatsoever.................................
We came to Lobos for a meal after a show as a belated birthday celebration. The place is really nice, lively atmosphere. The seating is quite constricted, my husband is 6’2” and he couldn’t get his legs under the table at all in the booth. They do however stagger your food which is good, they make sure they don’t overload the small tables.
We ordered a few things from a very flustered waitress, yes it was busy but her rushing made us feel quite rushed too, certainly no time for niceties.
The padrón peppers were very well cooked, the presa very small and late arriving, but delicious, the black rice oddly had the squid battered and fried separately and put on top, so not very authentic, but the rice itself was really tasty. Despite having ordered about six tapas we were still really hungry so we ordered the monkfish, again very tasty, and the green salad, not so tasty as it was mainly crunchy lettuce.
The bill was very steep and absolutely not a reflection of how we felt about the place, the service and the food, so we won’t be coming back, but it’s a shame, as it has the makings of a great place.
Amazing food and amazing service, a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or even just a last minute date. I could not recommend more.
Excellent ambience, food and service despite being very busy. Quirky decor and a fun night out!
We ate at Lobos on a Thursday evening at 5.15. The restaurant was buzzing, busy & very welcoming. The layout is amazingly woven amongst the railway arches making an incredibly cosy venue.
To start I enjoyed an excellent Aperol Spritz while To eat we chose the mixed platter of Iberica ham to share between us. The meat was tremendous - very tender & absolutely full of flavour. To follow I went for the Panacotta which was delicious & our whole meal was accompanied by a very nice bottle of wine.
A brilliant meal in an extremely welcoming atmosphere - with excellent service.
Another fantastic evening at Lobos. Still working our way through the menu after several visits and yet to find anything we wouldn't have again. Wonderful staff, great atmosphere, delicious wine .... and the food!
From the moment we walked in we were made to feel very welcome. Service was amazing, the waitress was very knowledgable about the menu. The food was fabulous as were the cocktails. Will definitely be returning
Excellent food and service, my only moan is the seating, as I thought we would be sitting at a proper table when actually we were placed in the entrance hall on stools. The food, however, was 10 out of 10: absolutely brilliant tapas, and I live in Spain!
Food was really good. The tables are small, but cozy. Staffs are very friendly.
Very friendly service and outstanding food. We will be back!
Lovely tapas lovely staff
The food was absolutely incredible, best tapas I’ve ever had. Especially the mushrooms, and the pork fillet.
Rushed and average food. You are given 1:30 to dine. How are you supposed to have dinner on the clock when they are also late with the food. We were constantly asked if we want something else even though we even had coffee after dinner. They are after profits and do not care about the experience. Average food. Never again!
Great food. Unique to anywhere I’d been before.
Great food and great service. Would highly recommend
Quite small but intimate cosy place not not to expensive lovely food and wine!
Good food. Convenient location. A little expensive for what you get.
Food interesting and very well prepared but expensive for what it was. The noise of the trains overhead was annoying but less than the noise of other tables shouting as the restaurant had mainly hard surfaces so sound wasn't deadened.
However, other restaurants in the area as as expensive, the area has gone trendy in the recent past a pity as it used to b e a traditional south London area with good restaurants at a reasonable price.
Good food and wine. However, it’s right under the railway so the noise from the trains is quite loud. The toilets not very clean.
Tapas to the next level. If you’re in Borough, head there
Lobos used to be our favourite website but unfortunately over the years the food quality has reduced massively. The steak was very fatty and slightly cold when served. Also, although the ambiance is lovely with gorgeous tables in the arches, the service is very rushed. We had all of our food served together (despite ordering starters) and they took plates away when we weren’t finished. We were in and out in just over 50 mins! It’s such a shame it’s changed because we always found it such a wonderful place.
Lovely atmosphere, amazing food.
Very good food and setting for 2 but I'm not sure I's recommend for any more then 2. I was a little small.
A little cosy gem, that puts a smile on your face. Fantastic food, great service with friendly staff. Loved it.
Great food, but it was very loud and tables feel very small. Worth it for the food and lovely wine but not great for conversation and service was a bit hit or miss (asked 4 times for a bottle of wine that they’d forgotten about)
Fantastically finessed tapas with good service. Good use of a small / tricky space - it felt intimate, but not crowded. Great place for a date or a catch-up with a good friend.
Really good food and great service. Only downside are the stairs to the toilets are warm and very slippery, a high risk of injury which should be addressed
Received a very warm welcome by the manager, the staff were all very friendly, overall a great experience and will definitely be going back
Excellent food. Very friendly service. House wine a bit pricey but would certainly go back there
All fine but noisy and a bit cramped within the railway tunnel
Always love it here. The host is enthusiastic, the food is delicious. Third time, so far so good.
Excellent food & great service! I’ll definitely be back
