LOBOS Meat & Tapas
Never ever write reviews. But had a brilliant time here on Saturday evening. Very difficult to find anything to fault. Food was simply some of the best Tapas I’ve had outside Spain. Service was good, wine was good, ambience was very good. Like I said brilliant.
Great food and fantastic service. Will be back soon! Thanks guys!
We’ve now visited both branches in London and both are equally as good! The Borough setting is special and the service was excellent when we ate there! We went here for my girlfriends birthday and they couldn’t have done better! We will definitely come again soon! Thanks to the waitress who made the meal unforgettable and special!
Best tapas I've had in London! Delicious food and friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend the pan fried prawns & squid and padron peppers.
Well located, bustling little tapas restaurant near London Bridge station. Speedy service, tasty food - quite noisy, so not for the hard of hearing, but enjoyed the atmosphere and food
The venue was great, I loved the industrial look and the food was really tasty. My only downers on the evening were that several of the tapas dishes that we wanted to order had run out. We were going to order 3 of the 4 that were no longer on the menu for the evening.
Love the food. Slightly tight space but enough for the fun.
Great service. Nice atmosphere. All plates are fantastic.
Lovely dinner for 2 people, really reccomend the pork cheek and horseradish mash. The waitress was so lovely and helpful especially as we didnt know how many dishes to order for 2 people.
Great food served by friendly and energetic staff. Definitely recommend
Very busy. Food quality inconsistent. Pretty long waiting time
I had dinner in Lobos on Monday with my daughter. The ambience was casual and relaxed, despite the place being full. We had friendly and prompt service, and shared some really good tapas and a nice wine. Reasonable value for money and recommended.
I think booking is advised.
Very friendly , lively atmosphere . The service was prompt and helpful. Food was very tasty with a great choice of dishes
This place has a great, almost clandestine atmosphere, dimly lit and under the curve of a railway arch. The tapas are good quality but a few of the meat options are really pricey and more like what you’d expect to pay for a main dish so really unaffordable if you are ordering 5 or 6 tapas. Overall, a great place.
Overall really good, the food was great and the waiters and waitresses very nice and attentive, but towards the end when the restaurant was nearly empty, one of the waiters was having his lunch break and the manager came and was rushing him and being quite unkind.
Fantastic we had a lovely lunch the staff were brilliant.I think the location is unique. We will be back later in the year. Thanks guys see you soon
Looked after us really well, particularly after we turned up almost 15 mins late. Much appreciated.
Great food as always.
Great food in tiny little restaurant - bit noisy and not the most comfortable of tables.
the menu offers great variety. all dishes ordered met my expectation. will go there again
Second time I have been here. Creative use of space, so a little bit on the loud side, but that's fun as creates a wonderful environment. Food is incredible. There were two of us and we ended up having 7 plates and left very full but food was too good not to. Staff were brilliant as well, lovely all round. 100% recommend.
great food, attentive service - one of the best tapas restaurants I've been to in London!
Authentic Spanish tapas, would thoroughly recommend it!
Great evening, good food and great atmosphere. Staff so cheery and friendly.
The food was absolutely lovely!! The menu could of been a little larger for a tapas, for if you don’t like seafood it does cut down your options!
It’s very loud as it’s a small place, but I didn’t mind this at all!
The service was absolutely superb couldn’t have done more for us! And our food was brought over very quickly however I didn’t feel rushed to leave!
Delicious indulgent tapas, great meat and lovely drinks
This was my second ever visit to Lobos in Borough Market, as a recently returned Londoner. I was pleased to once again receive a friendly and welcoming arrival. On my first visit I was on my own without a reservation. This time I prebooked and brought my aunty from out-of-town. This visit was as good as my last one. We were not rushed which I greatly appreciated, even though the restaurant was very typically busy especially as it was a Friday lunchtime in Central London. I genuinely can't praise the quality of the food and service staff enough. There are no bad dishes, so there is no going wrong! Muchos gracias y hasta luego Lobos!
Positive- v buzzy atmosphere- good service - attentive, quick - dealt with problems well (radiator leaked so my handbag/scarf got v wet on the floor - didn’t ask or expect it but got a couple of free drinks as ‘sorry’) found us some space downstairs once our table time slot was up - but don’t bank on it as v crowded
Negative- strict on table time allocation - I don’t like to be told I can’t order anything else as my time is up! Very cramped - tiny table and close together. Food - good pork but potatoes bravas and beetroot/goats cheese salad v. average for the price
My friend and I had a great time at Lobos. Unfortunately, we were given a table close to the main entrance so it was constantly noisy and it also meant staff were busy welcoming other guests. We didn't want a table upstairs under the archers but we might go upstairs next time to get more privacy.
We work just round the corner and have never been but glad we have now and will be returning. The food was really tasty and the ambiance is welcoming and quirky. Lovely wine and sherry.
Well-balanced tapas for every taste, featuring proteins cooked to perfection; decent quantity of food per tapa; very quick service; average price for London. Will definitely go back.
The food it's is good ,the portions even being tapas are small specially in the tapa named Secreto ibérico, the prices are expensive.
The service is ok.
Wonderful atmosphere, staff were nice but could have communicated a bit better around a delayed food plate, when the lamb did arrive it wasn't the best but everything else showed to have high quality.
The service and food was excellent but the price of a small glass of sangria let it down. I have lived in Spain for many years so know what a good glass of sangria should be, unfortunately the one I was served wasn’t a good sangria and was in a small glasss mainly filled with ice and chopped apple, the charge for this was £9.25. Very dissapointing that they are trying to save money buy giving diners overpriced drinks but then give you good food at a good price!
The staffs are very friendly!!and they even sent us roses at the valentine’s day!!food are delicious!love!!!
Great food, service location and vibe. Second visit here and found it better than the first time. We ordered plenty of tapas, drinks and got a bill under £100! Two very happy customers.
Bit pricey but Great food, setting and service.
Will visit again
The table is too small, hhhhh
The restaurant is conveniently located and is nicely decorated. Unfortunately the food was very average. None of the dishes we ordered were remarkable. There are better Spanish restaurants South of the river.
Lobos’ Iberico platter is just wonderful- presa, secreto and fillet along with mojo verde and piquillo peppers- yum! Drink the Tannat from Uruguay with this.
Really good food and wine. The service was excellent, friendly and courteous. You should try Lobos Meat and Tapas.
