LOBOS Meat & Tapas
The food was amazing as usual but the service really bad!
The restaurant is built into the railway arches near to London Bridge station and they have use the limited space well. We sat upstairs for a tapas lunch and the food was good. One of the dishes arrived after we had finished the other 4 which was OK being tapas and we ordered another dish to accompnay it. We had time for a pudding each which again was tasty. Overall decent food, although on the expensive side for Tapas with six small dishes and 2 deserts with a soft drink each (no alcohol) coming to 73 quid with the service added .
Street food type place, buzzing, great Spanish waitress, knew the menu.
Ideal for couples... love the food, love the glasses..
Really nice quirky little place, with great service , great atmosphere, waitress asked what we wanted and we said you chose! It was superb
Really tasty tapas, freshly prepared with great service, this is a great little restaurant with a perfect mix of meat, fish and veggie tapas. I highly recommend the croquetas served piping hot and full of flavour, the difficulty here is choosing and not over eating :)
Great food, good for celiac. Fab wine too. Friendly knowledge (including on the wine) staff.
Had meal here on Friday night glad we booked as very busy. Food was excellent not cheap but well worth it. Only downside was starters were served then main courses followed immediately which was wrong. Would recommend ordering mains after starters finished. Staff were friendly and efficient nice to here good music being played. Would recommend and return.
Visited for lunch with my wife on NYE. First visit and will be back. Every dish delicious and considerately prepared and the focus on ingredients is clearly paramount. Buzzy vibe - attentive staff. Excellent wine list. Nope this isn’t a cavernous venue designed for an all day business lunch... just a great place to taste great food !
Great informal restaurant
Cool little restaurant within the railway arches of London Bridge. It’s atmospheric and noisy with a small kitchen which you can see if you’re sat upstairs. The food is lovely, the king prawns and chocolate cake are a highlight (I was with vegetarians so didn’t sample the meat, which looked great). The drinks are quite pricey, £9.95 for a small glass of sangria and they don’t sell by the carafe. 12.5% service is put on the bill as standard...
All in all, I’d go back and recommend.
Lovely food and exciting staff pleasant and upbeat. Seating designed for small people is the only down side.
Excellent dinner, high quality food and very nice service!
Very nice place. The girl from Jerez was so nice. Thank you so much for everything.
Food is really good. But value for money? -ish! Service is okz
Really enjoyed the afternoon. Food was fantastic, service friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere. We shared a lot of dishes and there wasn’t one I didn’t like.
I plan to go back.
Superb In every way. Consistently good, always. Excelllent vegetarian options
Enjoyed a business lunch at Lobos meat and tapas. Particularly the Iberica pork - a must!
Fabulous as usual! Excellent service and sublime food, thank you!
Cool setting with cosy booth seating upstairs. Tasty food and cocktails. Great vibe.
Excellent service and Food - a great dinner with friends
Simply superb dining experience in every aspect. Great tapas and superb wine. Very efficient and polite waiter service - an energetic & vibrant ambience made for a fantastic experience.
Staff were really nice, but I thought the food was overpriced and really not good...I mean what was that salad!
Found this place as needed to be in this specific area - and what a gem it turned out to be. Staff were excellent, friendly, welcoming and looked like there were enjoying themselves! Food was delicious, as was the wine. Would absolutely go again!
We had some great tapas at LOBOS. Will definitely be coming back and it's a great spot for a date as it's cosy and relaxed.
An excellent atmosphere to make the most of the beautiful food on offer. Great for a birthday - the slice of cake on the house was a special treat.
Slightly too cramped a venue, but food pretty decent and staff very attentive. So would happily recommend.
I had dinner for two. It was nice but so loud. The food all came at once and our small table couldn’t fit it. It also meant we felt super rushed. Food should have been staggered.
Wonderful food and a great atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who loves tapas! Not a huge menu but everything we had was amazing! The staff were also efficient and friendly!
Great spot for authentic Spanish Tapas. Particularly recommend the octopus with chorizo and celeriac, it wad good we ordered it twice. We sat by the window watching the bustle of Borough market, ate our fill and had a really good bottle of wine. Total bill of around £120 for 2 people including tip felt like very good value for the quality of the food. Staff also very friendly and helpful, will definitely be back.
Terrible table at the top of the stairs, had water knocked over our coats by the constantly passing traffic of waiting staff. Tiny drinks and overpriced food, although it tasted nice. The hectic atmosphere at the table we we're seated at was not at all relaxing and we felt rushed might be better elsewhere in the restaurant.
A very buzzy atmosphere and excellent service coupled with outstanding food well presented made for an excellent evening. My only downside was it is all a bit squeezed in and we did have to leave our table before we were ready to leave but they handled it very well and did let us know in advance that we had two hours only. We were just enjoying our time there so would have enjoyed staying longer. All in all I highly recommend it and will return soon.
My mum come up from Hastings, we have hard a lot about the restaurant so we booked a table
Really good restaurant. Took a colleague here for a business lunch. The food was absolutely amazing, we loved everything we have tried. We only wished that we had more time to try desserts as well. The venue itself was really good, great atmosphere and not very loud. I would definitely come back again for a private dining and taste more of their dishes. Great location near London Bridge station and in the heart of Borough market.
Food was nice but waitress was not interested in listening to what we wanted when we asked for extra food, very unhappy because we wanted more food and the waitress took the order but never brought it, at the end we asked to take the £10 service charge and she got so angry that she threw the bill on the table, ver unprofessional.
Love Lobos. Joe and the team have done a great job. Always a fun & friendly, very tasty , interesting spot to eat. Good value too.
Amazing food, amazing service, superb little place, couldn’t recommend it more highly
Really enjoyable meal. Great Tapas. Reasonably priced. Friendly service
I always like coming here. The people are friendly, service is quick and food is good
Great food, great vibe - good value too. We were spoilt for choice with drinks!
