Food was great and a lot of energy in the place.
Service was excellent as was the food. Very loud, hard to hear
This place was wonderful! A favorite in Fort Lauderdale. Highly recommend!
We had a great time. Food was good. Broccolini was wet so we took it back and the novia scotia in our opinion was too fried. But we enjoyed everything overall.
Great food and service
Experience was a good time with friends. Service and atmosphere were great. Overall, food was good but there were moments where we thought they over seasoned/sauced and it took away from the actual taste of the food itself...i'd go again though👍
Our waiter is world class, Webster. He set a matchless standard. I will be back!
Mixed bag this visit. Always great service and food but ambiance suffered because of a family with small children, not supervised. The parents allowed the kids to “in wild” around the tables and annoyed other diners. The dad wore a tee shirt... Lobster BSG is an upscale dining experience and we did not appreciate management not taking note of the situation, nor doing anything about it. A manager stopped by the table prior to this happening when everything was fine but nowhere to be seen when the kids antics began. VERY disappointed that this was tolerated.
Excellent choice for seafood in Fort Lauderdale. Lobster risotto, tuna tartare app, whole branzino all excellent. Service is top notch. Excellent place for business dinner, date or celebration.
Absolute pleasure of a dining experience! We’ve been twice in two weeks.
On vacation and it never disapoints
Waiter was unfortunately not that effective with responding when we called, gave us the “wait a minute” hand a few times when we were requesting assistance as he was at the ordering computer
The food is exquisite and the service is outstanding had a great time
Wonderful night at the Lobster Bar for a special occasion. Everyone from the hostess, waiter and manager were awesome and helped make it a night to remember. Food was wonderful. We will be back.
Everyone enjoyed their meals in terms of variety of options, quality, preparation to requests and presentation. The service is designed to be that of a major, high-end establishment. But we found it a combination of "steak house urgent" with many people running around doing we couldn't figure out and "where did he go now" with our server often disappearing for long periods after a simple but important request. For instance, someone needed a spoon and the server took literally 5 minutes to return with it, as all of us waited to begin. Then, when we presented our two cards with the reviewed check, he again disappeared. This was longer than 5 minutes certainly, and became weird and awkward as he passed us several times and ignored our inquirty. Finally, we wouldn't return during Covid because the restaurant wasn't enforcing the requirement to wear a mask when walking around. They even seated a table of 4 with 2 of the people not wearing masks when entering.
The service was great from the moment we walked into the restaurant. The food came in a timely manner. Our waiter recommended perfect wine pairings for our meal.
Ordered lobster tail flash fried by accident! Glad i made the mistake. It was delicious. Tator tots different but also delicious. I eat gourmet all the time. You won’t be disappointed!
Absolutely wonderful!! I celebrated my birthday with one of close friends and we both were beyond happy . From the time we entered the restaurant and greeted with such a warm welcome (and Happy Birthday) walked to our table right away to be seated . The ambiance of the restaurant is just beautiful . Our server Emilio was such a pleasure and just overall spot on with everything making sure our experience was a wonderful one. The FOOD was EVERYTHING I expected and more. We started with the crab cake = DELICIOUS..no filler just CRAB. I specifically selected this restaurant for my birthday because I wanted fried lobster and when I tell you I was 1000% satisfied!! OMG it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!!! I was literally full at a point but could not stop eating lol. I will definitely be returning.
Great food! Service was very good!
Fantastic food and great atmosphere.
This is the second time we eat at this restaurant and we loved it. We had the surf and turf, the rib-eye with truffle butter, the sole meunière, and the Chilean sea bass. The meat was cooked just like ordered. Both fish were great. The lobster was great too. I ordered a cocktail, the mint passion fruit with jalapeño cocktail is out of this world! Sweet and spicy. The service was very good.
We have been coming here for years once again they hit it on the mark the food the music the service was second to none
the restaurant was quite busy and we were a table of seven
Our waiter Thomas, Assistant Manager/Sommelier Felipe along with General Manger Bobby made out night very special
Thank you all
Server set the mood. He seemed always in his own world. Ordered 3 appetizers. Only received 2. Ordered iced teas and no splenda. Asked for a Diet Coke instead and he ignored us and brought tea again very slow and we had to keep asking for things. Ordered steak medium rare. He asked if I wanted cool red center or warm red center. Asked again for medium rare. Steak came out seared with cold red center and had to send back. Baked potato was probably from day before. Said it came with butter , sc and chives. I had asked for all on it. Received butter and sc on side. Had to ask for chives.
Overall for the price point not good. Was really looking forward to this place and if the service was better would have spent more not to mention the $24 appetizer he forgot.
I have to assume another tourist trap especially when he said have a safe trip.
Great service and awesome food
Both items ordered were not tasty from what I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. I love risotto so We had the lemon lobster risotto. I could only eat 1/4 of the dish, it was way to ‘lemony’. The lobster was good but not a good pairing. Then we had the ‘bronzino’ and although the presentation and ambiance was very elegant and service was prompt, the food was not delish... 3 out of 6 of us were disappointed. If I do decide to give this place another try, we will definitely order something else.
Wasn't that impressed. Food was decent but way overpriced and small portions. Added a lobster tail to my ribeye and it was small and breaded pan fried. Not worth $90. Nice place to impress but not worth the value.
Amazing dinner and our waiter was amazing
On New Years Eve hubs and I had dinner at Lobster Bar Sea Grille on Las Olas. They originally sat us in a booth in the back but we had to sit next to one another due to covid so we opted to move. We sat at a booth in the lounge which turned out to be a great spot because they were playing good music. We enjoyed Gold Diggers for cocktails (vodka and pineapple martini) before moving on to Caesar salads and a 1 pound fried lobster tail. The best Caesar I’ve ever had (soft boiled egg and anchovies) and the lobster tail was thick and tender with a sweetness. I got the black diamond ribeye and hubs got the NY strip. Both perfectly cooked at mid rare. We skipped dessert and went with chocolate espresso martinis. Everything was very good and it was not as pricey as I thought for location, service, portions and taste. We will definitely go back.
Had a late lunch on New Years Eve and ordered jumbo stone crabs. Overall a good experience but...they were out of the wine we ordered and it took our server about 25 minutes to discover that as he was looking for it, so we were done with the first of our two course lunch before we ordered a substitute wine. More distressing was lack of proper utensils for stone crabs. There were no thin forks or “pickers” so nearly impossible to extract all the crab meat. Very surprised that a seafood restaurant did not have such utensils. We were given a fork that was just slightly smaller than a salad fork and told that was all they had. Workers were nice but I told them I was going to zing them in a review over the lack of tools.
The staff was fully masked up, but there was little to no effort to enforce the mask requirements for customers. I felt vulnerable uncomfortable and unprotected. Frank.
Always an amazing dinner. This is our special occasion place. This time our moms were in town! They loved it.
One of my favorite restaurants anywhere. Did a steak for 2, was perfect. The profiteroles, off the hook!
WE HAVE VISITED MANY TIMES AND LOVE IT !
WE HAD A NEW WAITER WHO WAS SPREAD A LITTLE THIN, HOWEVER THE MANAGEMENT STAFF JUMPED IN IMMEDIATELY AND RESOLVED THE DELAY.
THE FOOD AS ALWAYS WAS PERFECT !
WE MISS THE STEAK TARTARE .
As usual the service was amazing and the food was good!
Food is fantastic. Best spinach I ever had (side dish). Chilean Sea Bass was fresh and well cooked. Stone crab claws delish. Wait staff were all top notch. Atmosphere lovely.
Food was excellent. The service was a little off as our waiter was having an off night despite his best intentions.
The service and atmosphere was excellent, however, the food was far from fresh, could taste prefrozen items and also had rancid crab claws and a rancid scallop in the full flavored ceviche (all part of the Shellfish Tower). For any meal over $100, the food should at least be fresh.
I would put this in the top ten places I’ve ever eaten and I’ve had pretty much everything from zuma to ocean prime to stk, 112 and you name it. Here vegas la etc. this place is next level and sits right up there w the best of them. Highly suggest it to anyone.
Happy to discuss with anyone further. Give me a call on my office line. Yes I’ll talk about this place during business hours. Absolutely fantastic all already. Service. Wait times between courses. Wine selection. Pricing. Just fricken awesome
We were looking for a great seafood place. Lobster pasta was luke warm. Overly priced for food. Veggies side dish better than entree.
