The building dates back to the 1920s - originally serving as the Cleveland, Painesville, and Eastern Railroad power substation – and mixes modern and classic design to maintain and preserve the original architecture. Customized furniture and wood from Indonesia, unique lighting, and a variety of texture and tiles make the interior of the restaurant one of a kind. Waited over an hour to receive our Brunch meals. Food was not hot (like it had been sitting for a while). Waitress disappeared with no apology regarding the wait time or the food.

$6 parking per person outrageous! Waiter mumbled most of the time. We ordered 5 small plate starts. Ten minutes later she tells us kitchen is out of two and can they sub Feta for goat cheese. Chicken tacos were horrible. Minimal meat and cold cheese. Sort of ruined our bachelorette dinner. Spent $150 and were validated one $3. Ridiculous

Sol was a very nice, casual restaurant in Willoughby. Service was great. We were seated right away and our server, Maddie, was awesome. Very attentive and friendly. Good food and service!

We had sausage French toast sticks appetizer, which were amazing. Husband had Eggs Benedict - always great. I had a breakfast bowl which was fantastic. Our waitress was great

Staff very friendly. Food was good. Nice to try new places while traveling. We weren’t expecting to pay $6 to park in the lot. Not being from the area, we later found a public parking lot nearby.

Well the brussel sprouts were dry. Really needed to have butter or a light sauce over them. Sol burger was good. The banana peppers were also good. Would not recommend the tacos. My date didn’t like them at all the way they were prepared. Ate two bites but the restaurant was kind enough to remove the cost from our tab. Didn’t like that fact we had to pay $6 to park in the parking lot. It was at dinner time. Service was a bit slow. The chips and salsa were very good. They have a “root” chip that was extremely tasty. Overall it was a Wednesday evening and they were a little busy. Was too hot to sit in the patio area but would be a nice place to sit.

This was our second visit to SOL. I must say, a much better experience than the first time around, so glad we gave it another try. Our server, Maddy, was just amazing. So friendly and on the ball! Brunch absolutely delicious and the coffee and bloody Mary mix are GREAT too! We'll be back!

Menu items not available. Food was slow coming out of the kitchen. Staff seemed disorganized and the manager seemed not to care as she walked around with a drink conversing

Sol is one of our favorite go-to restaurants in Lake County. However, your back patio and dining room entrance off the parking lot need some sprucing up. Lots of clutter around the back of the patio, and the entrance is just plain blah. We've known for years how good the food, drinks and service are, but other folks may not...a few improvements would help your cause
