Dining is available in the lovely Colonial glass enclosed porches or in the cozy Fireside Room. In season, al fresco dining on the tented patio offers a wonderful spot for people watching, New Hope style. Stepping into the tavern, located in the oldest section of the building, is truly stepping back into time. The tavern remains open late and selections from the menu are available there. This careful blending of the old and the new has made Logan Inn one place where “the best of yesterday and today mingle beautifully.”
Great food and service
We had Pork Ossu Bucco, large bone, very little meat, maybe 2 oz., short ribs, small medallion, maybe 3 oz. 2 Most expensive items on menu; ridiculous. End of meal, starving. Meal with tip $170.00, not worth it. Can go to Davio's, Morton's, Capital Grill, Eddie V's for that money and have a better more filling meal. Very angry. Waitress never asked how was the meal? I would have told her!
Our anniversary was incredible thanks to the impeccable service and phenomenal food.
Mediocre food and mediocre service, dinner absolutely ruined by the fat old men revving their motor bikes on the doorstep NEVER going back.....rubbish
Great food every time
Lovely place to have a pre-theatre lunch. Friendly and professional service, good cocktails, delicious food. Will have to go back for dinner, soon! Thank you to the kitchen for being willing to customize my dish.
NEW OWNERSHIP - SO SAD
For 20+ years the Logan Inn has been our go to. Haven't been there since the fall so imagine my surprise when my group of 6 showed up last nite to see the outside bar area demolished and a ton of construction. Then I see the big sign saying that the Logan is now under new ownership - same group that owns the Ryland Inn and The Stonehouse in Sterling NJ = $$$$$.
THE GOOD: the renovations inside are great. Opening up & lightening up the bar makes it an attractive option in the winter now. The big room off the bar looks great. I look forward to the renovations to the outdoor bar - they are creating a room with windows all around that they can open in he nice weather and close in the winter - making it available for cocktails all year.
THE BAD: the food. Portions are noticeably smaller, prices for some items look to have increased(of course - remember the restaurants this group owns). My steak was meh. Not flavorful, sauce was not good. My husband's salmon was small. My friend was not impressed with the sauce on her pasta dish (too sweet) and her foodie hubby agreed. Osobuco (sp?) was good.
OTHER: service was ok. Our dinner order got caught up in the kitchen as they were hosting a huge party (not the fault of our server). It took FOREVER for our main course to be brought out (apps came out much quicker). Both Cabernets were mediocre. Malbec was slightly better.
BOTTOM LINE: I don't think I'll be rushing back until the outdoor bar is finished and may try another meal. Sad the owners of the Logan sold out though. It was such a nice local hangout. I'll be hitting The Salt House, Martine's, Karla's and Zoubie's more frequently now.
Disappointed....again. Very sad indeed.
Outdoor brunch on Sunday. Everything was good, and syrup was real maple. But it was basic French Toast and I expected more.
The first point of service is very important for any establishment. Unfortunately, my experience with first point of service was disappointing. First, it was not clear to patrons that in order to be seated we needed to use the outdoor entrance. And it was not clear to staff either, who directed me to the wrong person to be seated. When I got to the hostess stand, she did not acknowledge me or the other customer waiting until about 5-7 minutes. I under that it was busy, but she never said anything to indicate that she’d be with me in a moment. Hostess was not inviting either. Although my waitress was good, I had to remind her to bring me bottled water 3 times and the food took a long to come out.
I do plan to frequent this establishment because the ambience and food are worth it. I hope that this experience was an isolated incident.
We were a party of 7. We liked the food, loved the ambiance and will definitely return.
Always a good time. Great service. Chef came out to see how we were doing. Too hot to eat outside but will do so next chance we get. Looking forward to seeing the finished product when the construction is done.
We went for my mother in laws’ birthday! The service was outstanding! The manager, Magee is truly a gem! She goes out of her way to make sure you feel
Comfortable and welcome! We will definitely be back!
Lovely dinner before the show at Bucks County Playhouse .
Overall excellent- food, service and outdoor seating! Highly recommend!
Great place, an amazing time! We Love the Logan Inn!
This was my second visit to Logan Inn in 5 years and still the same great food and service.
The octopus appetizer was excellent but it was more of a salad topped with octopus than an octopus appetizer. The steak was cooked perfectly but the vegetables lacked seasoning. A little disappointing in the seasoning overall. Our server was pleasant but never introduced himself. We learned his name when we got the check. The prices were good.
Logan Inn accommodated our party of 7 courteously and with excellent service, plus the parking lot is an added bonus.
Very overpriced for the quality of food. I ordered a Manhattan that they had on their drink list. They obviously shook the hell out of it... ice chips and covered with foam. Any decent bartender knows you stir a Manhattan. $30 for a single crab cake that was advertised as lump but was definitely not. It was shredded like something you got out of a cheap grocery store can. They must be cheaping out lately. The other people in my group had the Bolognese and some type of short rib pasta. The Bolognese was kind of bland but homemade pasta was nice. There are better choices in the immediate area for the price you pay here.
Another Outstanding experience at the Logan Inn. Service goes beyond the expected and the food is always creative. Love it there!
Food was not as it had been on prior visits months back. Bass was bland, steak also not good or worth the $41 price. Quality not there. Waiter not particularly attentive. We were never asked how our food was or if we needed anything during the meal. Water never refilled. It’s like the waiter gave up. It’s the little details that matter to an overall experience. They were lacking here. Too bad.
Worst restaurant experience in a VERY long time. Let me count the ways...
1 - tuna special was ordered and confirmed as an entrée. However, staff brought it out as part of the appetizers. I sent it back, and the waiter apologized for the error. I politely asked that the kitchen not reheat the tuna and prepare a fresh piece for my entrée. Was told "of course."
2 - wife ordered striped bass with vegetable fried rice. Bass was a very small portion for the price, and the rice had nothing more than some shredded carrot and a few meager stripes of red and green pepper. The entire dish lacked flavor.
3 - tuna entrée was ordered 'rare', but when served as entrée, it was gray and completely overcooked. Called waiter over, and he again apologized and confirmed it was not how he placed the order in the kitchen. He took it back and promised a new one quickly.
4 - instead, a manager came to the table to say that they were now out of the tuna. I asked for a burger medium rare.
5 - burger finally arrived....raw. Not even close to cooked through.
6 - another manager came to apologize, offered to charge only for the drinks (two vodka and grapefruits, one sangria). We asked for the check. They charged $6 extra for the splashes of grapefruit juice.
7 - to top it off, Open Table sent me a note during the meal telling me that the restaurant recorded me as a No Show....I was there, trust me.
Food was very good and the chef came to our table to make sure we were happy.
Perfect for a casual romantic night out
The service was absolutely terrible. Automatic 20% tip for 5 people was ridiculous. The food was burnt or undercooked. Had to search for servers to get flatware and cocktails. Extremely disappointing!
Great meal, it started pouring and we were outside undercover staff was very attentive about moving our table.
My husband and I have made this out go to place for a date night. We decided to take my parents for Fathers Day. They both enjoyed every BITE! Great staff and always pleasant. Highly recommend.
Service was poor. Sat down and after 15 minutes had to get up to find someone to help us. Food came out over cooked. Not a good experience especially for my 56th birthday. Felt sorry for our server, he said he had too many tables, but he moved on the slower side.
Fathers Day Brunch. When I made the reservation, I was assured we would eat outside. Nope, they seated us inside in the bar with live music. Could not even hear ourselves speak to one another. Two of us ordered iced tea with lemon. Received freshly brewed tea in a glass. No lemon. And the tea was so warm, when we asked for ice, we only got three ice cubes! Was there an ice shortage in the restaurant? It took 10 minutes for the server to bring sweetener too. He said he had to go next door to get it! What?
Food was mediocre, terribly overpriced and a poor value. This was the fifth time I have eaten here (though not for five years), so I was extremely disappointed the food, service and ambiance was so bad on a special day.
We ordered all of our food at the beginning. An appetizer and our kids’ meals came out first, pretty quickly, and then we waited an hour and a half to get our meals (an eggs Benedict and a steak appetizer). The steak wasn’t cooked and it was full of fat. We also weren’t offered additional drinks, even after my husband’s wine was empty after the appetizer. Terrible experience overall.
Good food. Quaint place. Yummy crab cake.
The food was delicious!
Very good food and service in a high energy setting, the porch on the Main Street of New Hope.
Wonderful as always!
Had a wonderful dinner out on the front porch with my family. Food was great, waiter wonderful, and the chef came to our table to make sure we were happy. Nice watching the action on the street in New Hope from our table, and we pay a reduced parking fee if you are eating at the restaurant.
It’s always pretty good here! Lots of folks walking by and looking at the punch bowl! Great concept and the punch is very yummy.
We had brunch over memorial day weekend at the Logan Inn & the food was poor at best. I ordered a salad & noticed 2 hairs in my salad which I promptly sent back. We also ordered a seafood platter the quality of which was disappointing. For the price, I would not recommend the Logan Inn. I will say that the restaurant replaced the salad and removed the charge from the bill (along with the cost of one other item) and apologized for the issue, however, given the price point, I would've expected much more from this establishment in terms of quality.
Everything was wonderful, especially our sweet server, Dana! Will be back
