Great local place in Notting Hill - cannot fault attention to detail here MoreOpenTable Diner -
Arrived on time. Table not ready. Was offered a seat behind the check in desk, where you might keep your luggage or pets in a normal restaurant. Politely declined. Service very brusque but that’s par for the course. The food here is always excellent and aside from the general feeling you’re being tolerated is a great lunch choice. Wine list is brilliant but expensive even by London standards as they seem to rejoice in super sized markups for the especially good Tuscans. MoreOpenTable Diner -

On the lunch and dinner menus, wholesome and hearty mains follow vibrant starters, incorporating European influences throughout. From simple dishes with only two or three ingredients, through to complex plates that burst with flavour.
Versatile with two distinct offerings, Provisioners’ adjoining cafe projects an Italian vibe, with signature coffee blend ‘Shakedown’, cakes and toasted sandwiches served by day, before turning into a wine and charcuterie bar in the evening.
Courtroom Bar, just meters away from Provisioners, is located within The Dixon, Tower Bridge. Serving artisan cocktails and locally sourced spirits, Courtroom Bar is the perfect destination for a pre-dinner aperitif or a cocktail to end the night.
"Upon stepping into the two storey 1920s era Leicester Square location, guests enter a retail boutique with a patisserie counter. The 653 square metre space, flanked by 11 metre tall columns lined with signature tea tins, epitomises Leicester Square’s vibrant energy and welcomes customers
to explore displays brimming with gifts, packaged teas, tea accessories and tea
infused delicacies. Antique Chinese screens adorned with
Chinoiserie motifs embellish the balustrade of a dramatic stairway, leading guests to a 120 seat tea salon. Also taking pride of place on the first floor is the world’s first TWG Tea Museum, which showcases rare vintage artefacts and antique tea wares from all over the world including over 50 Imperial Russian samovars, hundreds of enamel teapots, tea caddies, silver tea accoutrements, porcelain tea ware and accessories."More
If dining in the U.K. still evokes lackluster fish and chips or sorry boiled vegetables, it’s time for a trip. Call it the renaissance of British cuisine—from revived and updated bangers and mash to regional authentic Chinese, London has rewritten its own culinary story and now proudly bears the qualities of a veritable food destination. With a population of nearly 8.8 million people and one of the most popular airports in the world, the city is a bastion of cultural and culinary diversity, from an old world Parsi café and forage-forward tasting menus, to rethought English breakfasts and markets of all types. We’ll cheers to that.
