We had the pleasure to eat here. This was our second visit to London...THIS restaurant is the best restaurant we have eaten at in all of London. Absolutely delicious. We dined with our two young children and the chef made it a point to make them something special, and yet out of this world delicious (organic, farm fed chicken and veggies), I had the venison pie with truffle mash, and my husband had the venison sirloin...the portions are generous and absolutely amazing! It was not gamey or chewing, it was completely tender. We will return next time we come! MoreOpenTable Diner -

Two iconic destinations come together as we bring Fortnum’s to the City for the first time. The Fortnum’s Bar & Restaurant will serve up a seasonal and contemporary menu from within the al fresco-style surroundings of the Royal Exchange’s spectacular central courtyard – and we are taking bookings now!
The menu – which goes from breakfast through to dinner – allows metropolitan traditions to meet modern London. A luxurious offering of caviar, shellfish, and hand-carved smoked salmon will be served in addition to light, raw, and vegan options; while Fortnum’s most renowned dishes, including Welsh Rarebit and the Knickerbocker Glory will also appear, alongside fresh produce from our famous Food Halls, such as our exclusive Glenarm beef. Food will be served alongside an extensive and expertly curated wine and Champagne list, in addition to cocktails, floats, and digestives. More
hicce is the creation of Pip Lacey and Gordy McIntyre
Friends for many years, hicce is a dream realised for this ambitious duo and the space and concept has been meticulously thought out to create the ultimate dining experience.
The menu will highlight Pip’s passion and skill for using the barbeque as a fuel source; grilling to steaming and smoking. From traditional smørbrød with cured meats and homemade pickles; to fish, meat and yakitori cooked over specialist holm oak charcoal. Pip will use traditional techniques to create beautiful dishes inspired by her travels and driven by her commitment to the very best produce.
Gordy is fantastically knowledgeable about drinks and guests can expect to see a carefully curated list of biodynamic wines, craft beers and original cocktails, each chosen to bring the best out of every plate.More
If dining in the U.K. still evokes lackluster fish and chips or sorry boiled vegetables, it’s time for a trip. Call it the renaissance of British cuisine—from revived and updated bangers and mash to regional authentic Chinese, London has rewritten its own culinary story and now proudly bears the qualities of a veritable food destination. With a population of nearly 8.8 million people and one of the most popular airports in the world, the city is a bastion of cultural and culinary diversity, from an old world Parsi café and forage-forward tasting menus, to rethought English breakfasts and markets of all types. We’ll cheers to that.
