Great local place in Notting Hill - cannot fault attention to detail here MoreOpenTable Diner -
Arrived on time. Table not ready. Was offered a seat behind the check in desk, where you might keep your luggage or pets in a normal restaurant. Politely declined. Service very brusque but that’s par for the course. The food here is always excellent and aside from the general feeling you’re being tolerated is a great lunch choice. Wine list is brilliant but expensive even by London standards as they seem to rejoice in super sized markups for the especially good Tuscans. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Great food! Really enjoyed the braised venison and the merlot! That being said, service was a bit slow/absentminded and the restaurant gets loud. But the food was great, the neighborhood is my favorite in London, and I would definitely come back to this restaurant! MoreOpenTable Diner -
This was my first visit and I loved it. I had dinner with two friends and everything about it was brilliant. The service was fabulous, charming and efficient. The food was divine and the red wine that our waitress recommended was perfect! a truly lovely experience. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Introducing our newest concept, The Gate, Kitchen, Bar, Terrace. Light, seasonal and contemporary dining with a passion and commitment to flavour, combined with a vibrant bar serving up seriously good cocktails. The Gate creates what can only be described as a real neighbourhood vibe. Great food and drink, unpretentious and amazing value.
It offers beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. The glasshouse drenches the room with an abundance of natural daylight, opening up perfectly onto the garden terrace, perfect for a spot of al fresco dining. The garden feel effortlessly continues inside where the interior artfully combines vivid colour, plant life and bold patterns together. Statement lighting, plush banquettes and more than a touch of a botanical theme create a bar and dining experience that blend seamlessly into each other.
The Gate Kitchen, Bar and terrace style is relaxed, inviting and fun. We want you to get comfortable and stay for a while. We look forward toMore
If dining in the U.K. still evokes lackluster fish and chips or sorry boiled vegetables, it’s time for a trip. Call it the renaissance of British cuisine—from revived and updated bangers and mash to regional authentic Chinese, London has rewritten its own culinary story and now proudly bears the qualities of a veritable food destination. With a population of nearly 8.8 million people and one of the most popular airports in the world, the city is a bastion of cultural and culinary diversity, from an old world Parsi café and forage-forward tasting menus, to rethought English breakfasts and markets of all types. We’ll cheers to that.
