Great first experience at Uoichi and it didn’t disappoint at all. Friends were raving about this place and now I understand why. The food is authentic and top quality as well as great value for money. It’s a no frills sort of environment which focuses of good food and friendly service. Having lived in Japan for three years, this certainly made me think back to some of my favourite izakaya spots in Tokyo. I would definitely go back! More

You simply can’t fault Core - from the moment you stepped into the door, to the decorations to wine list to service and food - you could understand why both this restaurant and Clare Smyth’s deserve such fame globally. The catering team is very professional and makes you feel at ease. It’s fine dining at the end of the day, and each course was very well executed. The amuse Bouche were a display of master skills, and the duck and famous apple and Meghan-Harry wedding pudding were to die for. One can’t leave Core without trying the potato dish which was cooked for a good 24hrs in seaweed broth, and the lamb carrot neck was so clever. I would highly recommend Core and definitely come back myself! More

Discover London

If dining in the U.K. still evokes lackluster fish and chips or sorry boiled vegetables, it’s time for a trip. Call it the renaissance of British cuisine—from revived and updated bangers and mash to regional authentic Chinese, London has rewritten its own culinary story and now proudly bears the qualities of a veritable food destination. With a population of nearly 8.8 million people and one of the most popular airports in the world, the city is a bastion of cultural and culinary diversity, from an old world Parsi café and forage-forward tasting menus, to rethought English breakfasts and markets of all types. We’ll cheers to that.
