Read a few very positive instagram posts about Lagu and I have a very high expectation and look forward the visit, indeed, Lagu didn't disappoint me, I ordered the teriyaki karaage don, the deep-fried chicken (Japanese karaage) mixed with teriyaki sauce and with Japanese mayo on top. For me it's a bit salty as they have marinated the chicken so well, with extra teriyaki sauce made it a bit over-seasoned, don't get me wrong, I loved it. My husband ordered the chicken combo curry, which has chicken karaage and Japanese curry, with soft boiled egg on top, my husband also very satisfied with his choice, I tried the original chicken karaage and it was very tasty, it was the best karaage I have tried in London! They served the multigrain rice which got the extra marks. I am Asian and travelled to Japan for many times, it's really authentic and delicious. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Open for over a two decades and family run, Thai Garden serves as a delightful spot to grab a casual meal.
With a captivatingly traditional décor and exemplary service provided, there’s little that can hamper a dining experience at Thai Garden, that’s before taking the sumptuous fare into account.More
We came for dinner Sunday night & had a delicious meal. Service very good, friendly & helpful staff, they were very happy to have my dog there & there were indeed other dogs which made it very friendly. Gordon Ramsey was there for dinner too & came by to speak to us. It’s close the park & very pleasant to walk along the river to the restaurant. A very happy experience. MoreOpenTable Diner -
I had booked a table in The Secret Garden they have insude but, due to the heatwave, the manager suggested that we sit in the restaurant. That was a great idea, as we were able to enjoy our meal fresh and in a totally relaxing atmosphere. There is a two course and a three course menu to choose from, £19/£23, and also other starters and a la Carte especialitues. I had the terrine and my friend had the smoked salmon. For mains we had the bavette and the beetroot risotto. I also had the treacle tart as a desert (I advise you to have it only if you have a sweet tooth, it’s really sweet!). Everything was delicious, and the service really attentive. Highly recommendable! MoreOpenTable Diner -
