First visit to Hakkasan but certainly not the last! recommended by friends who like us are "foodies". We were not disappointed! The food was amazing, great presentation and the tea and cake for dessert was a lovely surprise. The prawn dish was certainly spicy hot and came with dozens of red chillies for anyone brave enough to eat them. Our waiter and sommelier were friendly, helpful and so good humoured. We had very good steaks, I dined Texans and they said they were the best they had eaten in a while. One of us had a chicken dish and she struggled to eat half of it, huge portion. We ate at 1830hrs on Tuesday 12/6, the place was very empty. I have eaten here later before and it has been very busy. The waitress was from Spain and knew the menu very well and knew the wine list and was able to make recommendations. She was fun and efficient and knew her job - 1st class. MoreOpenTable Diner -

we had an enjoyable lunch here & would go back. There was an animated discussion with the waiter who was so enthusiastic to look after those dining here & saw it as his mission to do so. This is a real Bangkok institution, and having grown up there I spent minimum one night a week at our local Greyhound Cafe! The food at their new London branch is just as fantastic, they have removed some of their more non-thai options from their original Bangkok menu but I assume that is to cater to the more 'thai' brand image. They keep the flavours very authentic but with some fun twists and creative additions, and the drinks (awesome non-alcoholic options!) are just as good as I remember them from Bangkok. Very good selection of tapas with great authentic taste. The wine list is very comprehensive and the staff is helpful to find a nice Spanish wine than meets your taste. I picked Bobo Social because I was meeting a friend for a leisurely Monday lunch and somewhere close to Goodge St Station on the Northern Line. I hadn't been there before. We had a lovely meal, and opted to go downstairs which is cosy, and pale grey like the upstairs. We spotted two cavern like tables with lights, and have noted these for future meet-up with friends to book a big table. Two of us for a business lunch. Attentive and efficient service. We both ordered hand made pasta but chosen different sauces to go with it. The pasta was fresh, had the right texture and was cooked well. The sauce was very tasty and light, clearly made with fresh ingredients, including the tomatoes.
