We went for a long overdue catch up with another couple and their (almost) 2 year old. Service was good and attentive and they were lovely to the 2-year old. Food was good and I’m told the house red was nice too. I was on prosecco which also went down nicely. We’d go back. MoreOpenTable Diner -
As usual Jacks Place delivered a superb meal and the service was absolutely excellent. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a large crowd in who changed the ambience somewhat, but they were having a good time and seemed a decent group. Overall👍 MoreOpenTable Diner -

There was a good variety of dishes on the menu, some Bulgarian, some international. An attractive and spotlessly clean restaurant. The house wine is particularly recommended. Guests can sit back, relax and enjoy a little old world glamour as their roast is carved table-side from an original mid-twentieth century vintage trolley.
Cooked from fine British ingredients guests can expect a choice of at least three main course roast meats such as 21-day dry aged loin of beef, horseradish cream & merlot jus carved table-side; roast chicken, smoked garlic butter, stuffing, bread sauce & gravy or pork belly and crackling, apple sauce and calvados gravy.
All main courses are accompanied with imaginatively cooked and seasonal vegetables, potatoes roasted in goose fat, rosemary and garlic and Yorkshire puddings.
When it comes to dessert, take a trip to our candy cart stationed in the middle of the restaurant and laden with homemade puddings and sweets.More
