Service was excellent, our server was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent as always!
Great food with great service. Restaurant was beautiful and staff observed safety protocols very well.
Always love the atmosphere and service. One recent disappointing meal won’t discourage us from going back. Usually the food is amazing!
We like to sit in the bar area close to one of the fireplaces. Chris who tends bar is one of the most engaged servers we have ever experienced. We actually have been going here for over 25 years. We had our rehearsal dinner here way back when. Regardless, this place is a must visit when in town.
Always love going to Longfellows. It’s consistently great!!
Our meals were up to our and their usual high standards. We had a view of what I would assume is a wedding room and a pond/waterfall. We were in a room with only two other couples so it was very quiet and you could hear the music. Our time there was extremely relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend dining there.
Wonderful server! Pleasant and efficient. Food was good but pricey. We loved our private seating area.
Cozy and rustic ambience by fireplace. Service and food is great!
Great food and excellent service as always!
Everything was fine.
We totally enjoyed every aspect of the evening and appreciated the social distancing by the staff and the table placements during this unprecedented time.
Staff were very friendly. Our waitress was awesome. Food was good but kind of pricey.
Disappointed. My husband and I both ordered Filet Mignon, splurged for our anniversary. I am pretty sure neither cut was a filet. Both had a piece of grizzle running through it and were less than 1” thick. They were much chewier than they should have been. Expected much more for $30.
On a happy note... the poutine appetizer was excellent as was the French soup. The mashed potatoes were crazy good! My grilled vegetables never hit the grill though.
Our server Adrian was very attentive and professional.
Always a great spot.
Our experience there was excellent. The food was delicious and our waiter Todd was excellent. It was obvious that he was being careful in following all of the COVID rules and suggested practices. We would definitely go back.
The only negative point to the whole evening was the one customer at the bar who consistently was talking very loud to the point of yelling.
Our dinner and service was excellent. We frequently dine here and always enjoy it.
The food was great and the atmosphere was amazing. The value for the quality was impeccable.
We went to Longfellow’s with friends for our 38th wedding anniversary. The food was very good. The server was excellent. So glad we decided to go to long fellows. we highly recommend this restaurant to anybody staying in Saratoga springs.
Our waiter was wonderful and so friendly. My son loved his ribs with cornbread and beans. He said the best ever! I had a delicious short rib over picked vegetables which was very good and different. Glad we ate there.
Our waitress was cheerful and attentive. Food was delicious and because we had a reservation we were seated immediately. Always a perfect dinner experience.
If they have duck as a special get it,
Our server Chris was the best
I ordered the KAbab, peruvian chicken and the special of the night (duck) everything was great, but somehow peruvian chicken did not taste as expected. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was okay, just not as good as I remembered from past visits. Couldn't sit at the bar, because there was no bartender, but there was bar service at the tables????
We got married at Longfellow‘s 17 years ago. It took us that long to make it back for dinner. We won’t wait that long again. Phenomenal food phenomenal service
Aidan was an excellent waiter and our food was fantastic
This place is excellent!!
They are still transitioning back from being shut down but it’s great. The service was a little light but that’s because some of their people were still on 14 days. I would definitely recommend this place. Btw, their manager is great.
Food was delicious and cooked exactly the way we requested. Server was attentive and informative. The menu was appropriately priced in accordance with the ambiance.
The staff was amazing m, food was delicious. Nice to eat out again.
Ayden our waiter made the evening a wonderful night. 3 of us had surf and turf which was superb. Our other party member had a delicious salad. Cocktails and desserts were Great . Jack D and Rich K
My wife and I had dinner here for the 2nd and last time. Our table did not have a table cloth and our drink glasses sweated creating a wet mess. We both ordered the fillet and it was poorly cooked. Each fillet was overcooked on the outside and tough. We were disappointed and will not return.
Great service with Jessica and great food! We will be back.
The limited menu was fine, just disappointed it was not advertised. I reviewed the menu on line. That menu was not available. Understandable based on COVID-19. The limited menu was very good, just had to make and adjustment. The service was very good, and we enjoyed visiting and desert was very good. Overall it was a nice peaceful evening. I don’t think we will see that once this epidemic is behind us. Will be back again for sure.
Our service was excellent, as was our food selections. My only negative was the menu selections were very limited. But overall we enjoyed our visit.
First time here (we are from out of town) and it was wonderful. This is our new favorite restaurant.
We chose Longfellows to celebrate our Anniversary. We were happy to be seated at a table beside the indoor koi pond. The view was very nice and brought back memories of a family members wedding at the pond. On the positive we actually didn’t mind the new “socially distanced” table layout as it affords more privacy so you can focus on your dining company. Where our table tacked was that it was a bit wobbly, threatening to send drinks splashing. Also the lack of any dining room music seemed odd and off putting. Such a beautiful room was oddly sterile without music to replace the lack of nearby conversations.
Our server was a pro and very efficient. Our food was good. We both started with salads and I had filet while my husband had salmon. His salmon was perfection and looked wonderful. My medium rare filet was unfortunately kind of charred black on the outside giving it an unfortunate bitterness that ruined the otherwise buttery cut of beef. The peppery gravy it was served in was delicious though and I can say the mashed potatoes were probably the best I’ve ever tasted. We both enjoyed the roasted vegetables.
So overall our Longfellows experience was a toss up. Our actual service was great but our tippy table was a bit annoying and the quiet empty room a bit strange. Our food was also mostly great. Most of the filet came home with us. I’ll probably cut off the burnt edges and eat the rest. But the salmon was done perfectly.
The best dish was the bread. Burned burger, ribs with beans where the cook spilled a whole pack of sugar in it.
Take off the sugar from the pantry. Maybe they have nice dessert!
Our waiter was great. Th food was horrible. We both ordered filet mignon and it arrived looking like black hockey pucks. The charcoal was sickening, it was so overdone. I ordered it to be cooked medium expecting a little pink.
We will definitely NOT be back.
We have always had excellent food there however this last visit was very disappointing, my husbands fish and chips was terrible you could barely find any fish under the coating.
Comfortable seating with an excellent view along with an excellent dinner made our visit well worth while. Theservice was extremely good as our waiter Aidan was knowledgeable
but his attention along with a great personality made the visit even better,
