Had a good time with three friends. We all enjoyed the food. The staff was friendly. Having an Italian in our party helped maybe a little further ;-) And for our birthday boy the restaurant produced a yummy cake with candles. Excellent service!
Great place close to the theatre where we could have a chat. Food lovely, service slick and friendly so we were not late.
Good food and nice atmosphere. It’s also nice to go to a restaurant that isn’t part of a huge chain
As good as ever.
One our favourite restaurants for a lovely atmosphere, good service and great food
Excellent food, nice and quiet at lunch time. Great service.
My wife and I have come with others to this restaurant for a number of years. The menu has a lot of choice and the food has always been excellent; the staff is very attentive. When full the restaurant can be a bit noisy and it would be helpful to have a bannister on the left side of the staircase.
Good but they didn't have the offers as suggested on Open Table - no set menu for £15 and the pre Theatre menu was more expensive than advertised on Open Table.
Fab place for a tasty meal with a great ambience. Service was slick and efficient and a great location
Great restaurant. Especially useful as we were goi g to the theatre. Eaten here many tines and never disappoints
Delicious spaghetti with authentic Italian flavour.
Disabled note: WCs are downstairs.
We thought we had booked a traditional Italian restaurant . The mushroom risotto was very stodgy and left an aftertaste in your mouth . We actually had two courses in 30ins everything was so rushed
Big portions of food so better come here hungry. Garlic bread a bit too salty for my likings but otherwise food nice and piping hot.
Very much enjoyed the food and the service at this really nice restaurant in a good location in a busy area in London
We arrived 10 minutes before our booking but were seated straight away. The service was great, staff friendly and food Good. We would go there again.
It wasn't busy when we arrived so it should have been easier for the waiting staff to manage our table. We are asked on 3 separate occasions for our drinks order which didn't fill us with confidence that it was being processed. Then two of our meals arrived at the same time but the 3rd meal, a pizza had been forgotten so we had to wait whilst that was cooked. On this occasion it ruin our food as the pasta dishes were too hot to eat anyway so by the time the pizza arrived it had cooled down. I had lasagna which was disappointing as the sauce was tasty but there wasn't much meat and tomato filling; it might have looked more attractive with a salad garnish or a side salad and garlic bread should have been offered as an extra recommended option. The table staff were friendly but the Matradee a bit abrupt as we didn't know if we were supposed to follow her to our table of if she'd gone off to check availability.
Lovely food, in particular the pizza and Lasagne- A-mazing
Always come here pre-theatre or when meeting friends from a train at Charing X. So convenient and authentic, tasty Italian food. Reasonably priced drinks too.
Delicious food friendly courteous staff. Great location, it was a rather noisy but we enjoyed our family dinner before the theatre.
Good food as usual although can be a bit loud!
My wife and I go here often. It is easy to get to - very close to Charring Cross station and Embankment Underground.
The food is Italian, tasty and good value.
It is a lovely restaurant but a bit too noisy. Food and service great. Would go again but maybe sit downstairs if able.
We came here just before going to see Fiddler on the Roof nearby. The waiters were very attentive most of the time, although because it was quite busy on the evening we went there were a couple of moments where we asked for something but they forgot or we had to ask again. That being said, our experience at Lulivo was a positive one. The food which we ordered was delicious. I loved the Lulivo burger which was not too big but had a great combination of burger, sauce, lettuce and tomato. My choice of dessert, the Raspberry and White Chocolate Cheesecake with raspberry sauce was the best part of the meal. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to eat before going to the theatre that delivers a good service with lovely food.
We visited the restaurant with our 4 grandchildren aged between 6 and 13 prior to a theatre visit.
We originally started off with the children’s menu but then they all wanted to change to diverse meals. The waitress remembered everything without writing it down. The only downside was they had no mayonnaise and offered me tomato ketchup to put on my salad!!! We have eaten there before and definitely will again.
Been here many times. Food is very good but can be very busy so booking recommended. Staff are friendly and if you have a big group there is extra seating downstairs.
The restaurant is wonderful and the food superb! My only complaint is that to leave and pay the bill is a major logistical exercise and can take thirty minutes!!!!
Fantastic friendly & effecient service . Food was great and overall experience first class
Great food fantastic service. Very reasonable
Great place in the middle of London
Keep it up
Arrived appx 10 minutes before agreed booking and waited for friends before orderingwhen friends arrived were served promptly (male waiter had a slight problem understanding English) BUT NOT A PROBLEM, believe he was in training.
In conclusion a very pleasant lunch and returning next week. Who knows may even get %* then.
Great time had by all the stags
The Georgian waitress who looked after us was superb !
Great Italian experience in Westminister. Food, drinks and ambience were perfect for our family of four!
Very very very good I love this restaurant
Unexpectedly good food and reasonably priced Italian right by Charing Cross. Member of out party was misgendered though so service rated low
service was excellent but the food was a little disappointing. I had the Tuna nicoise and it had tinned tuna and frozen green beans - not really what you would expect.
Normally go to Lu,livo Leicester Square a shame this has closed unfortunately no where near as nice, rubbish position and atmosphere not so good, food and service good but do not think we will return.
Good service and good food, large portions which were very tasty and hot.
The restaurant is located on an extremely busy street in central London, close to clubs and bars.
Our group of 9 people sat downstairs and we were lucky to have a whole floor to ourselves. Despite this, the staff were very attentive, making sure they were available and checking in on us frequently. Most importantly, the staff were having fun and happily answered any requests.
The food and drink arrived quickly and everyone enjoyed their dishes.
When it came to paying, they happily split our bill.
Great service, excellent food
Was nice to find this restaurant so close to the Playhouse theatre. good food, friendly staff
Food was delicious, staff super-friendly and attentive. Thoroughly recommend but make sure you book. It gets very, very busy.
