Always really enjoy my visits to Lussmans, as menu choices are always seasonal and fresh. Service is efficient, friendly and just right. Food was lovely. Great dinner

The restaurant was very quite, even for lunch. The staff were very helpful without being over attentive. Food was good, but expensive for what it was. I would recommend top a friend but advise on the value.

Fantastic experience at Lussmanns for lunch this Saturday - myself and my mother. Greeted very warmly by the team at the front - couldn't do enough for us - lovely, caring and professional service and the food to a very high standard and great value for money (we went for the set lunch). Overall, a great ambiance. We left very happy customers and would definitely return. Highly recommended. And thank you to the whole team there. Fiona and Linda.

Another great experience. Imaginative menu. I had Corsican chicken dish with cous cous which was absolutely delicious. The whole experience was enhanced by the cheerful attention of Sam (great handshake 😉), who we were super impressed with.

Interesting menu that suits all tastes. Good size portions, not too big. These days food servings can be too big which is off putting and wasteful. We all had the lunchtime menu and the food was delicious. We have been to Lussmanns many times and are never disappointed!

Excellent. There were very few diners so I don't know how noisy it would be if full but I noticed noise deadening discs on the ceiling, at least I assume that is what they are. I didn't pay so I don't know about value.

Sat next to the entrance and had a cold air pushed every time a customer arrived or left. Overall nice food and brilliant service. Great that local sources are used and enjoyed the ale selection! A little pricey, but worth the visit.

We were sat in a table near the front window and slightly round the corner. It may have been that we were out of site of the waiting staff, but after our starter we had to wait a good 30 minutes, probably longer, for our main course. This arrived quite quickly after I went and chased it. The waitress offered us dessert menus which we said yes to. After about 15 minutes I had to go remind her that we asked for these. Nobody came and checked if we were okay and if we were okay with the food. The service really wasn’t what I used to from your establishment and I was really impressed previously and I’m really not now. So much though I doubt I would come back again

Several of us had the beetroot/pesto/goats cheese starter which was delicious. I had a vegan “lamb” flatbread which was one of the tastiest dishes I’ve had in a long time. Very pleasant & attentive service.

Excellent as ever - fantastic staff very welcoming - Flatbread was too hard however which we politely pointed out - and with out asking the manager deducted £9.00 - so really just a feedback suggestion - make the flatbread softer- also G&T was £9.80 which seemed a high price?....did not ask for a double so assume it was just a single....still the best restaurant in Hertford hands down

This is my favourite place to eat in Hertford. Good quality ingredients, consistent, and a well thought out seasonal menu which doesn’t disappoint. The service is understated but friendly. All in all, a lovely place to dine.

We love this restaurant - we eat there most weeks! The food is wonderful -the atmosphere is relaxed and we always have a great time. The staff are all lovely and attentive!! Best in Hertford! Nothing to do with the restaurant at all - just watch out for the different parking restrictions at different times all along the road near the restaurant - the traffic wardens are literally waiting for you to walk away from your car!!
