About
Centred on a passion for all things Brasilian, Made in Brasil Boteco is a bohemian, favela-style bar in the heart of North London. Step into this energetic space and be instantly transported to the vibrant carnivals of Rio or the friendly, old-style botecos (bars) of Sao Paulo and Salvador. The national spirit of Brasil is Cachaça, a traditional spirit distilled from sugar cane juice which has a sweet and explosive flavour. In fact, the bar boasts the largest selection of cachaças in the UK with over 100 to choose from.
The head chef Clau Gloria D Souza from Porto Seguro in the Brazilian state of Bahia has brought the taste of her homeland to a menu of Petiscos (Brazilian tapas) to be nibbled on throughout the evening.
Made in Brasil Boteco is already becoming a bohemian hub of South American culture.

Fun place - happy hour cocktails good value and food felt like authentic Brazilian.. great location pre-gig at The Roundhouse
Good cocktails for a reasonable price. Tapas were okay but all Fried. Nice atmosphere and very friendly personnel.
Lovely atmosphere and efficient staff. We all loved the cheese bred !
Had a great night here on Saturday for a girlie catch up. Mojitos were AMAZING. The chilli and raspberry Caprihina was really good! Food was lovely. This was my second visit. Will definitely be going again!
The staff accommodated our birthday cake and candles and made it a great occasion
The staff was friendly and very flexible in accommodating our wish to stay outside. The food and drinks were all amazing.
Terrible terrible experience. STAY AWAY!
Booked for a table of 8 people 3 weeks in advance. A week prior to the booking a member of the team called me to say Brazil would likely be playing that evening in the World Cup so do we mind coming in earlier. I obliged of course and was assured we could still have our table and the full menu would be available to our group.
Upon arrival at the restaurant we were told each of us would need to pay £10.00 entry. We informed them that we'd actually booked a table for dinner 3 weeks prior and were told to still pay £10.00 entry - none of which would come off the bill but would just be an entrance fee. We requested to see a manager.
Well, the manager that came to see us has to be the most obnoxious rude manager of any restaurant our group has been to. Did not care at all that we'd booked a table - his eyes saw that Brazilian football fans would flock there and pay £10.00 entry, so our dinner plans didn't matter. We asked why nobody called to inform us of this door charge - they didn't make plans to call anyway. We asked if Brazil weren't playing, would be paying to get in for our dinner reservation - the answer was no.
A group of 8 were then without any dinner reservation in Camden Town on a Friday night with World Cup Football on everywhere.
The attitude of the manager was pitiful and there is no point in even calling the restaurant to complain as they obviously do not care. There were money signs in their eyes when Brazil were scheduled to play that evening without a care for anybody else.
Thank the lord for Belgo - The Belgian Restaurant just down the road who welcomed our group in with open arms, had a fantastic menu and accommodated us to celebrate throughout the football and long into the evening.
Made In For Brazil Boteco - Made To Let You Down! Horrendous.
Amazing bday! I loved everything! Thanks Daisy and team for my moment! Samba do Chapéu smashed it! The DJ was absolutely amazing!
Amazing service as usual! Overactive my expectations for my bday! Thanks Daisy and Marisa for everything!

I don't recommend Made in Brazil Boteco. Despite good, the food is slightly overpriced so that it doesn't consist of a good deal. But my poor review is more related to the service. Waiters and waitresses were rude and this is the main reason why I will not return to the restaurant.
I booked a table to watch the Brazilian football match. Right after having confirmed the booking, I called the restaurant to double check and ask for a few extra details. The person who answered the phone had no information and asked me to call later. I did - again, the same person answered and told me the manager was late. When I finally got to talk to the manager (one hour and a half before my booking), I was told: there would be no entry fees; and our table would be in front of the TV.
Yes, there was a TV. But with a terrible delay between sound and image that prevented us from properly watching the match. Staff was not sympathetic to our (and the other customers'!) issues. Additionally, they charged all my late friends a 10-pound entry free (cash-only at the door!) -- apparently, it was the day's policy to charge entries after 5pm. Surprisingly, this was not mentioned to me when I specifically asked the manager (by phone) whether there would be any entry fees. When I tried to talk (in-person) to the staff, they were really rude and helpless.
Food was very nice, same as atmosphere but staff was not organised, after waiting around 20 minutes for getting noticed (even though I was obviously waiting to be served) they didn't have my reservation in their calendar, I was waiting 15 minutes for bill and some of them (female part of team ) were a bit grumpy (when I wanted to go out the restaurant to make phone call they were strongly against it like I would want to run away or something). I also felt like I'm being rushed to finish my meal and go.
We had a great time, the staff was super friendly, there was some confusion with our booking from Open Table so perhaps just ring through the day before to make sure that the booking platform has correctly notified the venue - This is an issue with Open Table not the restaurant who were super accommodating.
Tapas style Brazilian food was delicious and lots of cocktails to try. Music was quite loud so better for big groups/night out. Service was slow.
Fun atmosphere and really friendly bubbly staff.
Great little spot foe pre-show drinks and dinner close to the Roundhouse.
Brilliant food and service! The staff was very helpful with recommendations.. and they surely lived upto it.. highly recommended!!!
Food was lovely. Ambience great but I felt that the service was poor as I waited ages to receive a drink I ordered. Also felt like we were not fussed over. It was my birthday and no welcoming drink which I signed up for. Also very tight seating area.
Great cocktails, happy hour well utilised! Tapas was great! Live singing when we were there gave it a nice touch
Great food, all the staff were super lovely and service was really quick even though they were busy. Would definitely go again
A good restaurant. We enjoyed the food, music and service.
Efficient amd attentive service, tasty food as always. Downside: music is too loud.
Food surprisingly good. Dining room a bit basic. Bar scene and noise permeates but this is not a place just to go and eat because the bar is full and happening and the music loud and Brazilian. Fun night out!
Very impressed with the place. Grabbed dinner and drinks there before seeing a performance at the Roundhouse. Food was great, good menu range and they were great with dietary requirements some in our party had. There was funky music in the bar area, but the restaurant part wasn’t loud. It was also very good value for London. Would definitely recommend.
Absolutely amazing!! Perfect staff, music, food! Love this place!
At first we were seated downstairs which was empty & cold. Not what I had in mind & nothing like the vibrant, buzzing atmosphere upstairs. To their credit, once I mentioned it they made an effort to find us space upstairs & even moved a plant to create more space. From that point on great food, great cocktails, great vibe, great night!
At first they couldn’t find my reservation, we were put on a table in the end that was cramped for 5 people!
Food and drinks were ok, but expensive for the size of the portions, especially the rump steak!
Because we had kids with us we were told we had to leave at 9 as it then turned into a night club
Great experience! The food is great, the atmosphere and the music even better. Only thing is the variety of options on the menu, there could be more.
Restaurant atmosphere was decent. Looked clean, with Brazilian decorations and apt music. Staff were generally friendly and attentive. Wine list was sufficient and bar looked well stocked. Food however was a let down. Stodgy dishes with pretty much no greenery. Did not feel fresh in anyway. Probably will not be revisiting.
Popped on before the Roundhouse for quick Tapas, good food and quick service
The place was very loud and we struggled a bit sometimes to order food as the waiter was very busy, food was good but not amazing, the vegetarian platter selection I found it a bit expensive in contrast to what we got. The dessert was good, the waiter didn't know much about the menu selection
Really enjoyed our visit. Very friendly staff, great food, nice ambient. Very reasonable prices. Location very easy to find. Nothing bad to say!
Have been to made in brasil a few times and always a great experience would recommend!
Fantastic food & great cocktails. The service could be improved as the staff kept disappearing for long periods of time. Overall, the meal was very good value as we took advantage of the tapas deal & Happy Hour!
A bit pricey but very tasty. Roof terrace seating very pleasant. Would recommend. Also enjoyed live Brazilian band downstairs in the bar.
was my 4th time there, but this one was the best, was my boyfriends Bday, they helped me make it really spacial, the food, the drinks and he had a little dessurt with candles, he loved it, the staff were amaziiiing, he had an amazing time, many thanks and will definitly be back

Amazing atmosphere, great table service, live music but still not too loud to keep a conversation. And the food is very authentic, varied options, speaking as a Brazilian myself I would definitely recommend this place to friends that want to discover all the flavors.
Very tasty food! Vegan options available.
Tasty Brazilian food, excellent tasty cocktails and good service. The restaurant can be echoey. Great live music, shame it wasn't all evening and we couldn't see it from our table.
We came here for my mums fiftieth birthday, and had a wonderful time. The Brazilian tapas was amazing - particularly the mixed fried seafood, and the feijoada cake. We had two rounds! Service was so friendly and attentive, they put banners up for us and let us bring cakes and balloons. One word of warning - the live band on Saturday was atmospheric but a little bit loud when you're dining, so only for those who enjoy Latin music.
Good service and food
good service good beer, a quick supper before the roundhouse. brazilian platter and veggie platter were described by some as 'iceland party snacks'. lots of pastry, indeterminate fillings. tapas better, side order of beans good. probably better than rated if one chose with more care but we were in a hurry. nice staff.
