Made in Brasil
Lovely restaurant and definitely worth a visit if staying in Camden. Good menu selection and reasonable prices. Wide drinks selection, particularly cocktails. The food was well presented and delicious. The staff were very polite and attentive. There was also a guitarist and singer there which added to the chilled atmosphere and we had a great evening. Would definitely return.
Nice atmosphere; excellent service; tasty food. During the second band performance, music was too loud though, to the point that it’s impossible to chat even if shouting. This had a negative impact iny experience, unfortunatelly. Otherwise, 5* and I’ll certainly come back.
Service was great, we arrived extremely late and the restaurant was very accommodating. Food was delicious and cocktails were amazing.
I was anxious to find somewhere in London where I could enjoy a classic caipirinha. So I googled and found Made In Brasil and so made the pilgrimage to Camden Town. I enjoyed the cocktail and then discovered that a friend had brought her mother here for her birthday. So the three of us made a return visit on a thankfully not too busy Saturday night. We all enjoyed the cocktail and ordered some food. I found the tapas dishes more successful than the mains. My salt cod croquettes were good but the chicken dish that followed was rather dry and needed some sauce. A halloumi cheese tapas dish tasted of nothing, but my friends pronounced their seafood dishes very good. Later on the restaurant filled up and was very buzzy with a good vibe. The décor is good fun too. So all in all I would say go for the cocktails and atmosphere rather than the food, which is not spectacular.
Very good food, well cooked and well presented.
Quiet and very pleasant atmosphere.
Wiil certainly go back.
Food was amazing, however the band was so loud that we could not even talked to each other over dinner. Shame as it was a great band but ruined the whole experienced.
Really enjoyed our evening.
Delicious cocktails and food. Loved the music and atmosphere. Definitely would go back
Fantastic as always
Friendly staff, good service, good portions of nice food, but prices reflect location.
The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The cocktail menu was large and varied and the cocktails we tried were not bad.
The live music was so loud that people sat next to each other couldn’t hear them shouting to one another.
The food was poor, we tried a big selection of tapas dishes made up of a sharing tapas plate and a few more tapas dishes and the vast majority was fried and beige, not much tasted particularly fresh. Unfortunately quite a few things could have easily been straight out of an Iceland frozen party selection.
Will not be going back to eat.
My Brazilian steak was really very good, both tender and tasty. My wife had Feijoada which I've had before and enjoyed, but she found it was just too many beans although appreciates that this would be consistent to its origins. The staff were polite and friendly and the place has a good atmosphere.
Popular bossa nova and samba classics - live band and DJ - made us dance for hours.
Fun night! Caipirinhias were good (perhaps a bit weak).
Exceptional food and cocktails and great service, i will definitely return
The food is incredibly disappointing for a Brazilian restaurant. Everything else is meh.
Lovely food, amazing service and lovely staff. Made to feel very welcome. We even got given a little extra special treat as it was out anniversary! Would definitely return.
My friend and I had a wonderful time here. All staff members were so friendly, from my entrance onwards. Bar staff, waiters, the manager - everyone - smiled, were funny, attentive and the rest. The only slight downside was the volume of the live band (who were amazing). It just meant that when they started, having a conversation was close to impossible.
As an additional point, if there isn’t an area to dance to the music now, perhaps one could be added...?
As the food and drinks were good and not extortionately priced, I’ll probably bring others here.
Thank you to everyone at MIB!
Alisha. Keys. 😊☺️
It used to be an amazing place. This time I was somewhat disappointed with the pressure. They called me to confirm booking and asked if we were to have just drinks or food as well. I confirmed food. They said they were busy and we were to leave by 9. I said ok. Then we came, they reminded that we had to leave the table by 9. Then the waiters kept coming encouraging us to order more and more food. In the end we moved next door rather disappointed - by 9 on Friday it was still half-empty. Shame, I loved the place.
Great cocktails for £5.50 during happy hour was a win. The prawn risotto was very nice but the other prawn dish we ordered was nothing to write home about. The place is lively and the service attentive.
My friend and I were very happy about the service and the delicious food! Friendly vibes along with a lovely music entertainment. Thank you!
Delicious food and authentic Brazilian vibe. Great for relaxed night out or celebration.
Great food & even better value. We were sat by the till alongside the stairway which was a little cramped. Seemed a bit odd as I had a booking and there were far better seats free.
Booked on spec from website, based on location, menu and availability on a Saturday. Great place on two floors, nice bar and restaurant. Excellent food and drink, friendly staff and reasonable prices. What more do you need? Recommended for a fun time.
Great Brazilian food, excellent service and the interior looks nice.
Enjoyed the service and the food was exceptional. Marco you are a legend. Thank you for looking after us.
Waiters seemed to ignore my husband and I when we first got in and for most of the meal. They paid alot more attention to a table of 4 next to us. My husband's pork dish was very good but my grilled chicken was a bit lacking - chicken grilled well but the amount of butternut and sauce overwhelmed the entire dish. Cocktails were very good. Would appreciate better hospitality in future.
Loved it so much! The waiters looked after us and the lady who was in charge kept checking on us. Could not have been happier. Strongly recommend staying after 11pm for the Brazilian music. The atmosphere is so good and the DJ plays some awesome tunes.
If you're looking for dinner before going to a gig at the nearby Jazz Café or Round House then this is a great option. The staff are friendly and the range of Caipirinha is awesome! Happy hour is until 7pm, and this also includes the food. The food menu has veggie options, and the portions for the tapas options are very generous so be careful not to over order - 3-4 tapas is enough for 2 people.
Good for pre-drinks and light food. Dinner under seasoned so i had to ask for hot sauce and portion sizes are small. Atmosphere is good. Waiters did ask if we was ok 7 times which made us uncomfortable as it seemed they wanted a very quick turnaround.
I have been to Made in Brazil so many times in the last six years however in the last three years the dishes decreased size and price increased a lot. Service charge shouldn’t be so high as well.
Overall price is high for the area and bar concept.
Food excellent with fresh goods and sympathic servers
We came for traditional food and drink and this place hit the spot. The Feijoada and Moqueca were both tasty. The caipirinha cocktails were great too. The service was very kind, though bit inattentive at times. Overall a good experience! Will be back.
A lovely place
Quiet at lunchtime on a Wednesday, not surprisingly, but the food was decent quality, tasty and the service polite and friendly, if a little laid back. A lot to like here for an informal lunch.
Great space. great food ! Amazing service.
I recommend and will always come back!
Slightly overpriced, food very average, good atmosphere and service.
Had been a few times and have recommended to a few friends. Love it!
Love the starters and the caipirinhas!!!
Its a must!
Valentine's Day, booked on the assumption that soulful, Brazillian jazz guitarist and vocalist would be playing.
Upon enquiry, I was told the act had simply been canceled.
Pretty loud dance music was playing and I requested something more like what would have been playing (i.e. something smooth and romantic) if the advertised performer been there.
Instead, the music, equally loud, was switched to dub reggae which I was flippantly informed was 'traditional Brazillian music'.
Embarrassing. The food was lacklustre and did nothing to improve the experience.
Amazing place, atmosphere, staff and of course delicious food. Great experience, we will definitely go back there when in London!!! Thank you guys. Well done. Obrigada.
The food unfortunately tasted processed , my friend had chicken with half a sweet potato with basically a bottle of or made bbq sauce poured over it, we had cheese pasties with no cheese inside, chicken bites with bits of bones that kept chipping off and under cooked halloumi. Food was not authentic Brazilian at all.
