Madhuwan Ratings and Reviews
A really amazing experience, food was incredible, probably the best I have eaten!! Staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed/ wanted, including offering us free drinks at the end of the meal!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you so much Madhuwan
First visited this wonderful restaurant 2 years ago and thrilled that its excellence has been maintained. Food gloriously delicious and beautifully presented - so delicate to the digestion as well !! The service was outstandingly polite and helpful as well as being discreet.
From the outside, the place doesn't look much; inside, it's got a red and black theme going on, with lots of booths, creating nicely secluded tables. The service was courteous and prompt, and the food was good, and included several dishes I don't think I've seen elsewhere. All in all, a very enjoyable evening.
I have been to Madhuan many times. This time was a group dinner for a birthday. It was absolutely delicious as always. Best Indian food by far in my opinion of any restaurant around. I highly recommend the lamb shank special.
Always very prompt good service.
We had travelled from East London as part of a group booking on a Sunday evening . From the moment we walked into the restaurant we were in awe of the decor and the setting. The restaurant resembled those that can be found in the West End, namely, Mayfair.
The execution of the food was brilliant complemented by pleasant and friendly staff. The food was of superior quality and could not be faulted in any way.
Overall, a fantastic dining experience tucked away in the heart of Bromley. I would highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed.
I booked Maduwan by accident when another local restaurant proved impossible to reach by phone or the internet but I'm glad for the accident.
The food, the service and the decor were fantastic and could not be faulted. We were even offered free drinks at the end of our meal.
Two minor things - one of our party thought the service was a little slow - but he has been known to be impatient. The other thing was that one of the waitresses was smoking outside the front door when we arrived which I found a bit offputting.
Been here a few times so expectations are always high- wasnt too busy when we arrived but the ambiance of the venue and the booths make it feel intimate and cosy for the 2 of us anyway. Food was top notch again and service its usual high standards.
Will return and gladly recommend
I always enjoy my curry, and when Madhuwan was recommended by a friend, I was skeptical when he said it was the best in Bromley according to Trip Advisor. How wrong I was to doubt him.
This was actually the second time I have visited Madhuwan (but the first time I booked on Open Table), and I must say it is the finest curry house I've been to in a long time.
I can fully recommend, Madhuwan to anyone. I went as part of a group of work colleagues, and everything was perfect. Slightly expensive, but to get this level of quality of food and service, I'm not complaining and will happily pay again.
What an unexpected surprise. I took my son for a curry, not only were we happy with the food but the staff were very friendly to. The venue is great even the loos were spanking clean (this makes a big difference to me) my son even commented on this and he's only 9.
You will not be disappointed, give it a try.
Once again Madhuwan pulled off a fantastic meal. The additions to the menu included a superb Rara duck breast and a vegetable and cheese dumpling delight.
We had a fantastic meal full of flavour, beautifully presented dishes and exceptional service. Will be back again very soon!
We visit this restaurant regularly and they always exceed our expectations. Their service is friendly, proffessional and attention to detail. Ambience and decor is stunning - just like a modern London restaurant. Food is exceptional and they will adjust or make your dish to your personnel preference, Cannot wait to return for another lovely evening !!
Dined at this restaurant a few times and always delighted with the good and service. A little more expensive than other local Indian restaurants but food is more refined and beautifully cook - must mention the lovely butter soft chicken!
Will definitely go back.
Popped in for a quick dinner with friends before heading to the theatre this time so just had the 1 course over a bottle of wine. Great selection of specials don't normally see within a typical Indian which offers a great choice for something different. I went for the duck- it was beautiful and very flavoursome. Service as ever was impeccable- extremely friendly, attentive without being too aware of them being around. I continue to recommend.
Always very impressed with this place and dont visit enough really.
sat at the back for the first time in one of the booths- not sat there before. was really nice and cosy for the 2 of us.
Food and service was great and we stayed for starter.main and dessert- dont usually have dessert at an indian but was enjoying ourselves so much we didnt want to leave
So I decided to take my wife to Madhuwan to celebrate her "28th" birthday! After reading all the reviews I must admit we were both a little excited as to what to expect and it didn't disappoint. The service was perfect and the food well what can we say other than WOW! The friendless of all the staff and the cleanliness of the restaurant is what you would expect from a 5* restaurant in the City. A credit to Bromley and we will definitely be going back.
My wife and I passed this restaurant while driving a number of times but didnt stop to dine there in view of the location. As we couldn't get the first choice from toptable decided on this one after reading the good reviews and have to confirm that they are an accurate reflection. We had the best rara chicken, khukuri and vegetable biryani. The dish I specifically liked was Hara chicken (marinated with coriander). There is a bit of delay in serving as the food is specially cooked with fresh ingredients unlike other curry places with ready made sauces.
overall a fantastic experience and we will be going there again for sure very soon!
We took a friend who is a fish eating vegetarian and had the most delicious Fewa curry. Being a meat eater I will definitely be returning to this fish curry again, it was a revelation and absolutely amazing. Thank you once again Madhuwan you never fail to make taking out our friends a wonderful experience.
