Madison Ratings and Reviews
We had a brilliant meal, with large portions which was very tasty and well presented. The staff understood our need for a smaller portion for our grand child and we were promptly served. The place was full of people on a weekday lunchtime and this gave a lovely atmosphere . We particularly liked the truffled chips which are to die for.
I booked the Madison for 4 people on Saturday 16th September for my boyfriends birthday. Not only did the staff make us feel very welcome from the moment we stepped through the doors but throughout the entire meal. The food was fantastic and I could not fault a thing. I will be coming back next week because we enjoyed the meal so much. Thank you Madison. Mrs Leigh McGarr.
I booked Madison's for my partners birthday with a group of friends. Overall it was excellent. Food was delicious, service and ambience was good. Only suggestion is to improve the air conditioning (way too warm in the restaurant).
We had lunch at Madison and it was lovely. a nice buzzing vibe and very friendly staff who took good care of us. the chicken 'snack' was huge and delicious. the main of open ravioli was delicious! And my friend loved her choices of asparagus and chicken from the set menu whcih was great value. And we loved the macarons!
Fantastic food and ambience, would highly recommend for after work drinks on the terrace / dinner on an evening overlooking St Paul's. Menu is slightly pricey however worth it for the location and service. Ideal for special occasion / business meeting. Will be visiting again!
Really enjoyed our Sunday brunch, lovely environment with great views. It was quite difficult to understand our waiter and we had to ask again for a few things, he didnt get the order exactly either. Food was very tasty though and I will return again.
We had drinks on the terrace after brunch which was very relaxing although again, service was quite poor. I had to get up and ask for menu, then again had to go back and ask them to take my order, although they were very prompt in bringing the Unrequested bill with Additional service charge of 12.5% included!
The view here is just wonderful, looking straight across to the dome of St Paul's. Quite exposed so a warm coat advised.
On arrival, quite early (6pm) the bar was already buzzing and there was a lovely feel about the place.
The set price (£25) Open Table menu was limited and I was apprehensive about my choice of starter as I really had no idea what it was. When it was served it was delicious as was the main course.
We went to Madisons for lunch on Saturday, we arrived early and were greeted warmly and we sat at a table for lovely cocktails before being seated for lunch. The food was wonderful, as per the cocktails and wine. The service was very good, staff were attentive but not pushy and didn't rush us at all. Thoroughly enjoyable with a fabulous view!
We liked the ambiance, busy but not hectic. The staff were all friendly and the service could not be faulted. The lobster and chateaubriand was excellent as was the reasonably priced wine list. The small red wine glasses were a minor disappointment but hardly enough to spoil what was a very enjoyable lunch and one we look forward to repeating. Highly recommended.
Fantastic food at a very reasonable price, the views from the restaurant are amazing and the outside bar area is lovely. Christmas party season so service was a little slow and one of our sides was not ordered and then appeared when we had finished the meal so one of the disappointing bits of the whole experience. Would like to visit again though at some point when Christmas is over to give the service a try again.
