My boyfriend and I were in town for the peach bowl, we stayed at the Kimpton Hotel and chose to brunch at The Betty after checkout. I love a good Bloody Mary and this Bloody Mary did not fall short…it was delicious! Our food was also really good and it wasn’t obnoxiously busy which I appreciated. I did make a reservation that morning though just in case!

Wonderful dining experience of the Chefs Tasting menu. We added all supplemental food items. The oysters, (offered in hot and cold, but we went with hot) the risotto, and the squab, and cheese cart. Everything was delicious. My favorite courses were the Waldorf salad of sorts, Lobster, and Waygu. All amazing and perfectly prepared. Apparently the Squab for Two (whole bird) was a new menu item the Chef was looking for feedback on. I thought it was great. The only feedback I would have to say was that the skin was extremely hard to cut and caused the stuffing between the skin and the meat to fall apart. But I put the blame for this on the steak knife, not the food itself, as the cuts the chefs made when preparing the dish were perfectly clean. The steak knife’s for the Waygu and other courses could have also been sharpened. Overall the meal was amazing and art of the food and chef really showed. For the price, there were two of us and we had water $18, no other or drinks or alcohol, the Chefs Tasting menu $245 per person, the supplemental course of oysters $?, Truffle Risotto $90, and squab for two $90, and one cheese. The total for the two of us before tip was about $830. If you wanted the wine paring, they had 3 tiers roughly priced at, tier one for $145, tier two for about $250, and tier three for $500+ based on what you select. This restaurant, service, and experience was amazing and I would highly recommend!

We went for a birthday dinner, was our second time at Joey D’s. The food is great and great value for a steak house type restaurant. They have a lot more than just steak check out the menu. We will definitely be eating there again very soon.
