Wonderful, as always! Great sangria. All of the dishes were very tasty
Marbella is a modern restaurant reminiscent of a past lost. The ambiance, the service and many of the servers seem like new found treasure and their desire to please the customer supersedes the quality of the food which is very good also.
Great food & service! Couldn’t have asked for a better time
Ive been coming to this restaurant for many years, but moved out of the area a few years ago. A few days ago I returned and I'm pleased to report it is still an excellent dining experience. The ambience is "old school" with banquets, heavy high back chairs and red accents throughout. There are table cloths and the waiters wear suits or tuxs. Their attention to detail is "old school" also. The Sangria is made the traditional way, not just wine with floating fruit. The paella is delicious, and the bread is hot. But the best aspect of the evening was the service. Our server was an older gentleman who clearly took pride in professional service. It was delight to watch him prepare several table side dishes. The dessert crepes were made using an intricate method using the finest liquors and flambeed. He also prepared the Irish coffee table side, first lighting the whisky in the glass, coating the rim, and topping off the finished product with real whipped cream. He did everything with a smile. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Some tips: we had a reservation and came in at 8pm during the week. It is known to get crowded on weekends and/or earlier in the evening.
as always #1 food great service great can't wait till my next visit
The restaurant has a nice comfortable atmosphere. The waiters were very polite, friendly and attentive. The the food was excellent. The Paella dishes were delicious as well as the the Shrimp with the green parsley sauce. The manager or the owner visited our table and greeted us and thanked us for coming. Our waiter bought our table a round of after dinner drinks. A nice surprise. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
despite huge parties, we were treated most attentively snd courteously...and the food was amazing .. thank you
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicious.
an amazing meal, greatservice, fantastic ambience
Excellent food. Lovely ambience.
We love making Marbella's a tradition for New Year's Eve.
This is an excellent restaurant with old world charm and excellent service. On weekends they have a harpist playing familiar pop classics.
From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave it is a fantastic experience
Had paella! It was delish...
Shrimp in a garlic sauce creamy... Best app
Staff was beyond nice. Parking lot a plus
Excellent food and service. Wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. We had appetizers of sliced chorizos and eggs stuffed with seafood and entrees of stuffed filet of sole and chilean sea bass with shrimp and clams.
Recommend all of them.
Beautiful place great food and wonderful people always very professional
My usual response would be yes to recommending Marbella to friends. On Thanksgiving, my experience was less than expected from other visits. I found the food good as to opposed to very good in past repasts. The service was more brusque than I have ever seen at Marbella. Plates clanged against the table during service and the waiter or busboy would then run from our table throughout our dine. This is a restaurant that handles special events and holidays with quiet efficiency routinely.
I let the servers and management know about my disappointment during this dinner. Based on this review, I would not give a recommendation.
We went as a group of 12 people for Thanksgiving dinner. We were not in the restaurant, we were in a party room that was light up bright with florescent lights and white walls (Migraine Bright). There were like 50 small children which is fine with me. What was upsetting is they were running in circles around the tables, screaming at the top of their lungs for no apparent reason but to see who was louder. The parents did absolutely nothing to stop this or calm them down. As a matter of fact two dads picked up their young boys put them on top of their shoulders and were playing chicken!! Finally a waiter said something but it was only the desert that got them to be seated. The alcohol was bottom shelf and the drinks were awful, either too strong or watered down. The food was so so, nothing I would ever recommend to someone nor will I ever go back!!
Overall a positive experience in a well established restaurant serving traditional Spanish delicacies. Enjoy the old time servers who have been there for many years...
Food was terrific! Service was excellent. The waiters were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I had the mariscada en salsa verde and it was just what I expected. I wanted to spoon up all the remaining sauce. My wife had a simple grilled shrimp dish, which I tasted, and it was delicious. Definitely a wonderful dining experience.
We have been coming here for over 18 years and it was a very big disappointment... too much nose with large parties who were rather LOUD .. staff seemed to be very overworked got order wrong and wait time and attention was lacking compared to ALL THE PREVIOUS TIMES we have been here. THE FOOD is always great and presentation amazing along with Exceptional VALUE . Despite the staff are being professional and caring they were clearly over worked this Saturday night and attention and quality of service was disappointing at best.
Everything excellent. Parking sign was not visible while driving at night, only seen after parking in nearby area.
Having traveled frequently to Spain, both my wife and I appreciate authentic Spanish cuisine. Marbella is, by far, the best restaurant in Queens for quality food and service.
Amazing. Food. And. Staff. Especially. the. Waiters.marko Fausto. Carlos . And. Hands. Down the. Harp player. Victor. And. The. Manager. !!!! Waun. Amazing job. Well done.
We have been going to this restaurant for our wedding anniversary for over 40 years and have never been disappointed....it even still looks the same.....ageless and delicious!!!!!
Always an amazing dining experience. Superb food, professional staff, and wonderful harpist. This is our go-to restaurant whether it be for an impromptu meal or for a special occasions. Bravo!
Was all good but ordered lamb shanks and received 2 small shanks which were New Zealand shanks ... limited amt of meat
Also when reviewing bill saw that we were billed for an extra drink. It was a quiet night and only about 4 tables.....suspect old school games
One of our favorite restuarants. Great service great food, great atmosphere.
My family and I loved the authentic Spanish cuisine! My parents were happy to find that the service and food have remained the same great quality they experienced years ago.
Food was good. Nice size portions and nicely presented
Service was very spotty. Had to ask for water refills
Wine glasses was not refilled by waiter
Bread not fresh
Had to ask for desert menu after waiting 20 minutes after finishing entree
Cappuccino was very good
Chilean sea bass in green sauce was ok sauce delish fish mediocre
The food was pretty good and basic. Nothing of spectacular. The show was great. Dancers and singers were everything.
Just one great restaurant b food NEVER disappoints......nothing is EVER an issue....soooooo good!
We celebrated my mother’s 90th birthday at Marbella and were treated very well. The staff was very attentive snd the food was great as always.
Great food as always. Green sauce and Spanish coffee to die for!
We all had a great time, the service and food was incredible. They didn’t have chicken fingers or fries in the menú for kids, but the waiter was so helpful by mentioning that they have it and my younger kids were not left out.
Birthday dinner. This is hand down one of the best restaurants in Queens. Great for any occasion.
We had a great time - live harpist, good service, great food!
The room was pleasant albeit a touch warm. Service was efficient and attentive, very "old school". Appetizers were the Calamari and the Mussels in Parsley. The Calamari were grilled and delicious. The mussels were amazing! Entrees were the Chilean Sea Bass with Lobster and Lobster Sauce special and the Pollo a la Madrid which was listed as Chicken Francaise on the check (and priced $3.00 MORE than the Pollo a la Madrid menu price incidentially). The Chilean Sea Bass with Lobster and Lobster Sauce was excellent and priced $1.00 LESS than a simliar dish on the menu. Go figure. The Pollo a la Madrid was delicious, chicken breast in a lemon wine sauce. It was a substantial portion so I didn't complain about the upcharge on the check. Dessert was the Strawberry tarte which was was like a giant strawberry twinkee or a strawberry shortcake without the whipped cream. It was great. Coffee and espresso were wonderful as well. Wines by the glass and cocktail prices are reasonable here at $10.00. The small parking lot serves the restaurant and hotel but a sign in the restaurant says you can park in the Adria hotel’s lot a block away.
Always Outstanding! Thank you Louie for your excellent service and attention!
Food and service outstanding. Beautiful harp music gave a nice atmosphere.
The food was tasty and everyone enjoyed
Service was a little slow as we sat and waited for the main course
Did not know ingredients in bread and therefore my grandson could not eat it (allergies)
Understand that it is not made on premises but they should get ingredients from the baker
