We went for a delayed wedding anniversary meal on a Saturday evening. Unfortunately we had negkected the fact that the Sevens was on at RFU! Twickenham was mobbed with good natured and well lubricated young people. Thd restaurant was nit full but it was quite noisy and not their fault of course. The food and service was very good but we wanted an intimate dinner. We just went on the wrong night!
Great friendly welcome at Masaniello. Lots of veggie dishes and a good wine list at very reasonable prices. Authentic Italian cooking and restaurant, I had a lovely aubergine pasta though prefer traditional tiramisu than the pistachio one they served.
Great place to eat. We ate with friends after rugby at Twickenham. The food and drink was excellent, and the service great. Excellent location. Would definitely recommend to anyone, we will be back !
Excellent food well worth a visit and good value for money will definitely return when next In twickenham
Excellent Italian food and service
Great Helpful staff lovely creative menu beautifully cooked and served not too expensive worth traveling from Ireland would recommend it to others
One of the best restaurants in Twickenham..if not the best. Authentic and extremely tasty Neapolitan food. The staff are incredibly friendly ( it helps the staff are Italian too and know their menu extremely well).
When you see crowds of happy italians eating in an Italian restaurant outside of Italy, it's a good sign!!! Couldn't recommend a better Italian place in West London.
We love this place - the service is always genuine, friendly and full of passion for great service.
Amazing food and bubbly atmosphere.
Excellent meal and superb service as always!
Another lovely meal at Masaniello with a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is also child friendly. Pizzas are excellent, though the salad was uninspiring.
Visited for lunch before rugby match at Twickenham. The service was first class, efficient, friendly and quick. Our pizzas were both excellent with plenty of toppings and beautifully cooked base. Will be back next time we are in Twickenham.
One of our places to go for either before or after a rugby match at The Stoop or Twickenham. Pleasant staff. Good basic food with a few twists on traditional Italian dishes. I like the Bruschetta with aubergine replacing the tomatoes.
Lovely meal in a lovely restaurant . Unseasonally warm day but thankfully we had a table by the Front open windows .
Service was fantastic . We took ages to order as we were too busy chatting but that wasn’t a problem for the restaurant and they let us take our time . The staff were so friendly and accommodating . Would definitely recommend and would go back .
A lovely little restaurant on Church Street. Very unassuming but cozy & friendly ambiance. Very pleasant staff. The food was lovely - I had their signature ragu pasta (delicious) & my friend had their house pizza (her abiding favourite). We shared a starter of octopus, which was tasty but a little chewy & very expensive for the portion at £10.50. Overall, definitely on my list for a more than decent local Italian.
Busy restaurant serving quality food with attentive staff
We meet up each year prior to the Rugby - Food always very good and a great atmosphere in which to catch up pre match.
A very warming welcome at a lovely welcoming restaurant
This was a lunch booking prior to attending Twickenham Rugby.
The staff were all very attentive and the food was very good
probably one of the best pizza's that I have had for a long time
would definitely recommend this restaurant
Fantastic as always! Great place, great food and great value.
One of the few authentic Italian restaurants, Masaniello never disappoints.
A proper authentic neighbourhood Italian & really good value for money 😄
There are a wealth of Italian "trattorias" in the Twickenham/Teddington/Richmond area and they have to have something special to stand out. For Masaniello, it is the ambience and the service. The food is fine, prices are average for food and wines, but the place just buzzed. The FOH suprema was on the look all the time, but she didn't really need to be as the waiting staff were really on their game. Keep it up!
Booked a table here on a Saturday night and the place was packed.
It had a really good atmosphere, the team were really friendly and the service was great our waitress knew the menu inside out and advised us on her favourites.
Our order came out reasonably quickly and was really good, the mozzarella was amazing and the pasta stunning.
Definitely will go back, the only let down is the tables for two are tiny and you could only get one pasta bowl on it let alone two!
Luckily another table had just left and the waitress was more than happy to move us
Fabulous service- couldn’t have been friendlier-really busy night but food came on time and everyone was very kind . Good choice of food and wine and great atmosphere
Went to Masaniello and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice menu with not only pizza and pasta but also some other interesting choices. I had the Grilled Spanish octopus, roasted aubergine, nduja dressing and smoked burrata cheese for a starter, which was very good and the calves liver for mains, cooked perfectly. My friend had the fish casserole, which was full of different ingredients. Again very good.
Recommended and would definitely go back
Great little Italian restaurant in Twickenham. Very authentic and tasty food.recommended.
Overall the food quality was good, very authentic but portion sizes small so don’t go hungry unless you’re going for 3 courses. Pizzas are much better value than the pasta dishes.
Lovely food as always
Having only just moved back to West London we wanted to meet friends. Looked up local restaurants and Masaniello came up. Looked good so booked. A brilliant choice and we shall be returning again soon. Delicious food!
Excellent - cannot be faulted. 10/10. My wife was born in UK, but her parents were Italian. She is an amazing cook of Italian food. Apart from home and Italy, Masaniello is the only place she will eat pasta. That says it all. Thank you once again for an excellent afternoon's dining. Mike & Daniela
Excellent, as always! Graffette back on the menu, my favourite.
We moved tables to get away from the door, but ended up squashed in at the other end of the restaurant by the toilets! Starters were good, but mains average and the bill seemed a lot for what we had.
It was a busy evening but the staff are always friendly here and the atmosphere was lively but not too noisy. The food was freshly cooked and satisfying. It's also a great place for coffee and lunch.
A little piece of Italy in Twickenham! Fantastic personalised service. Divine pizza!
We done at Masaniello pre and post Harlequins’s rugby matches. Good food and friendly, courteous staff. Recommended.
Busy evening because of the rugby but at no point did we feel rushed. Service was excellent and all staff very friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent, certainly the starters and pasta we had were a bit different from the run of the mill Italian restaurants. House wine good value.
Had a double birthday celebration here on Sat eve. Staff were excellent, very enjoyable evening
A most enjoyable experience with authentic Italian food served in a buzzy friendly environment.
Staff are delightful and so want you to enjoy your food - not a difficult expectation !
All six of us are planning to return .
Great atmosphere and lovely food. Look forward to next visit
First visit but will definitely not be last ! Gorgeous authentic Italian food 😁
Really lovely authentic Italian restaurant with consciously sourced ingredients and a good solid menu. Friendly, attentive service and an ask round good experience!
