Excellent except service was a bit slow.
Food was tasty. Appreciate the gluten sensitive options. Our server was attentive and delightful. Noise level was loud - there was a loud group next to us - but something about the acoustics makes the noise amplify. Still enjoyed it and would go again.
Ordered the chicken sandwich Nashville style and it was ok. However, the pizzas were amazing! Such a great meal to share with others and strongly recommend the pork belly and also the crab pizzas.
This was my first time at the Merrifield Matchbox. It is as good as I knew it would be.
I usually enjoy Matchbox and I order the Margherita pizza however, my order was just ok. The pizza wasn’t hot when it came and it was very very thin.
Did not see anything on the new menu worth trying. Many old favorites were no longer offered. So we left after only an appetizer and a drink.
Our waiter was super helpful with the needs for our special daughter with an intellectual disability - really appreciated the kindness.
Guess it was a bad night. We had a reservation and were told we would have to wait because there were no tables. So while waiting, I used the restroom and there were multiple eampy booths open. Strange! The salmon, requested with a warm, pink center was SO over done and SO salty. They took it back, no problem, but then the others ate while I waited for a new dinner. Seems like the prices have gone up quite a bit.
Always great -- super service. Really appreciate that they are on Open Table so we can walk right in and avoid waiting.
My son’s fourth birthday lunch was amazing. The staff really stopped by frequently (not too frequent where it was a bother, but just enough to really not have any huge gaps of time in between visits). They brought him a dessert with a candle and sang to him. The food came out timely enough, and was cooked to our order.
Too noisy; too loud. Had to nearly yell across the table to be heard.
I always enjoy this location!! The food, ambience and service is always great! Although we were at the community table, Brian was an excellent sever!!
The pizza was soggy, which the waiter recognized on his own and replaced it. The ingredients on the pizza were ok, we’ve eaten at matchbox before but this time was disappointing.
Outstanding service! The event was a huge success!
Service was outstanding.
Everything was excellent! Our waiter was fantastic and the food was delicious!
I wish they would go back to having more bunt but options....food is excellent but one option for brunch (all you can eat) is not for us.
I ordered the 1/2 baked chicken. It was flavorless and still pink by the bone. Surprisingly bland and tasteless.
Overcrowded but good. Food was good overall
The food is always consistent and really yummy. The staff is very helpful and accommodating especially with larger groups. Also like the free pizza on your birthday. I'll definitely keep going back.
Atmosphere, food and value are great. Love the mosaic location. Will definitely visit again.
It's Matchbox. What more do I need to say. It's the only pizza I eat. It's a destination for deliciousness.
This was a Father's Day afternoon lunch. We were seated in a separate room with beautiful lighting and a very quiet ambience. Our waiter was prompt, thoughtful, and very considerate of our needs. A great setting for a family get-together and a top notch experience!
Everything was okay. Just okay. The problem is that I had been talking about the h limited brunch to my family for weeks. So while the lunch menu food we got was good and the service was fine, my disappointment when we were told no brunch because the kitchen was overwhelmed. Huh? There was barely a half filled dining room and none of the serve staff was stressed or running. We had a reservation for Father’s Day but we still had to wait 30 mins to be seated. I’m not sure I can convince my family to go back and try again. How disappointing and underwhelming.
Dined there on Father's Day, 16 Jun 19 with a reservation. We were seated 35 minutes after our 1:15 PM reservation time. As we waited, a manager came to the hostess and said, "86 the brunch. We're getting killed." Upon inquiring it was determined that meant the brunch was ended at 1:30 PM instead of 3 PM. It was the brunch menu that attracted us. We stayed simply because it would have been difficult to find another establishment at that point. Food: Crab soup was excellent. My wife informed the server and management the calamari was the worst she'd ever tasted. I tasted her pizza and found that Ledo's Pizza was much better. I had the ribs, which wasn't all that. We visited on a strong recommendation and was very disappointed.
Sunday brunch was pretty disappointing. They seemed overwhelmed, and service was apologetic, but slow. As a result, it took forever to get food, orders were wrong, and with the long lags between ordering and receiving food it made for a poor value. We would not go back again.
Great food and service
Great food. Had unlimited brunch.
A bit pricey but fun for Fathers day celebration.
We had brunch to celebrate Father’s Day. We did the unlimited small plates brunch. The food was really tasty. Service was very poor. Took a long time to get food out and we often got food that wasn’t even meant for our table. I would recommend eating there again, but service should improve over time.
Great unlimited brunch special. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Food was great. Would definitely come back.
we loved the new lobster pizza !
Always very happy with Matchbox.
It was our first time at matchbox, we had a lovely evening. The food was great, especially the ceviche tacos appetizer which we all loved! We were there with our six year old and nineteen year old - it’s a challenge to please all generations in one evening, we definitely hit a home run tonight! The service was stellar as well as the food and ambiance, what more could you ask for?
This restaurant has a nice menu, good food, but it is a bit loud for our tastes.
Great service food is always good . Always a bit pricey
They completely messed up our order. They did fix it and they completely owned up to making the mistake and comp’d the food so I guess the customer service made up for the extra time we had to wait. The manager was amazing!
We were able to get outside seating which we really enjoyed. Our waiter was Steven and he was excellent! Always love the food. Hubby had the Chicken Sandwich and it was very delicious. Always love their Fig pizza as well as the Fire one.
Excellent variety on the unlimited brunch menu. The $3 brunch cocktails are a nice added touch. We tried a large portion of the brunch menu items and everything looked great and was amazingly delicious. Even though the chicken and grits and shrimp and grits were a bit runny, they were still flavorful and delicious. Definitely check out the unlimited brunch menu, you won't be disappointed.
Best meal we had at Mosaic
Food has been better but was still really good. It’s kind of dark in the place so that’s depressing. The server was really nice and attentive. He was a little slow to refill drinks but it was a busy weekend. Overall great experience. Would def. recommend.
We went for brunch for the first time at matchbox and it was delicious!! Great food and drinks. Would definitely go again and recommend.
